Needed to get a badly rounded 17mm differential filler bolt off a 1996 Toyota Camry 4-cyl automatic that was on there with a death grip. It was in bad shape when I started, vise grips with a sledge hammer made it worse. Got a set of metric bolt extractors at HF, used the 17mm one. After getting the socket on there not much room for tools to use on it, found this at the local Home Depot and it fit on there great. I used a scrap 15″ piece of 3/4″ metal conduit I had for more leverage and finally got it broke loose. Very happy with this tool, it worked great for what I needed.

I wasn’t the first that needed to use it – my neighbor had a couple stuck bolts that his regular ratchet couldn’t budge. This tool did the trick easily. I had the same problem the next day in removing both bolts to the blades of my Honda lawnmower. The extra torque easily loosened them. Yes, I would recommend.

This is a very useful tool. Changing and replacing the transmission fluid on a Subaru with a CVT is a chore. The length of this tool allowed me to reach the almost hidden fill opening, which by the way, has an Allen head plug, and open it with ease. I recommend this tool for this type of job and many others.

it won’t give you a whole lot more leverage then your 3/8 ratchet, but it’s strong and you can put a pipe on it to really force stubborn bolts loose. This product will definitely extend the life on your 3/8 ratchet drive.
