The Husky Metric hex bit socket set is a great addition to any tool box or socket collection. This set comes equipped with 3/8 in. drive bit sockets allowing you to tackle wide a range of projects. Bit sockets give you the advantage of accessing fasteners with the reach and tight arc swing of a ratchet that standard folding or L-keys just can’t match.

- Bit sockets attach to 3/8 in. drive tools, such as a ratchet or breaker bar, providing a longer handle and more leverage than standard hex keys or screwdrivers

I got these to work on my new ebikes. With the amount of money involved, I wanted to be sure that that I had quality tools and I needed a way to use a torque wrench, since many bolts on the bikes have tight tolerances. These bits seem very high quality. They fit the bolts well, so there was no slippage that sometimes happens with cheaper hex bits. They are 3/8 drive, so you will likely need a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter when using a small torque wrench.

The 3/8” drive metric hex bits performed to my specifications. While you have to use standard hex wrench’s ever so often-it’s nice to use this style when possible. They really speed up the tightening process when you can add a ratchet to the job.
