This is Husky’s most complete selection of 3/8 in. drive Impact Sockets in 1-set, all conveniently stored in single, easy to transport case. The 6-point style of socket helps to reduce the chance of rounding fasteners under high-torque applications and feature chamfered lead-ins for quick and easy placement onto fasteners. The industrial grade black oxide finish provides added durability and prevents corrosion.

Purchased this set from HD about 2 months ago. Extremely solid set and case, this should last the rest of my lifetime (I’m 33.) Just wanted to mention that if you are buying these for working on your truck (rotating wheels/tires), these sockets *may* not fit inside the lug nut hole on aftermarket wheels due to the thickness of the sidewalls of the sockets. I have a 2016 Super Duty with Fuel wheels (8 lug) and was quite surprised to discover that the new impact socket set I just purchased couldn’t perform the task I specifically bought it for! Not Husky’s fault, and they are still fantastic quality.

I am so tired of socket sets that skip sizes…. you know, 13,14,17,18, etc. I get it, there are sizes where metric and SAE are basically the same… but when you’re working in metric you don’t want to stop and try to reverse engineer what the missing size is in SAE.This set has ALL the sizes, they don’t skip anything. When they say it’s 13-27… it’s literally every size in between there. They also give you the standard depth AND deep depth for every size. It’s really nice to have those options when you find yourself with a bolt that’s juts long enough to bottom out your socket.The steel is good heavy hardened steel, and the socket walls are nice and thick. It should be pretty challenging to round these out.The case is a nice touch, but for those of us who keep things in a toolbox I would have preferred something that breaks apart and could be dropped into a drawer. The case would be better for a contractor on the go who keeps everything in the truck bed.

The sockets seem to be of heavy construction I use them on water mains and have yet to see any rusting or had a socket break. However wish the set came with 1/2″ drive socket

this set feels very solid and good quality. comes in a plastic case, well organized. I mainly got this set to use with my Milwaukee M12 3/8 stubby. works great with o-ring drive. I’m sure itll work with pin detent as well.

Some of the sockets where stamped backwards and are not useable in the 1/4” 6 point set . Also not enough socket holders are provided to organize the sockets . The set should have enough socket rails to organize all! Of the sockets .

Overall I think this is a great set of sockets, they look well made and the couple I tried had a good fit. The little set of common sockets with the extension is really nice. I wish the entire set was labeled like those were. Like others had mentioned, most the sockets are nice and shiny with the size etched on. The size is not real easily read however and would be an issue in poor light. There are about 6 different sockets in this set that are not shiny and are instead have the powder coating applied and not shined up at all. The issue is the sizes of these particular ones are very difficult to read. A couple of these ones were also very dirty/oily etc. that requited cleanup. This would be a all-star set if these few were better.

The Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE/Metric Impact Socket Set (64-Piece) is a quality set of impact drive sockets. The case contains 30 Metric and 30 SAE size sockets, a 3’’ extension and a 6’’ extension, a universal connector, and a ½’’ to 3/8’’ adapter. Sockets are available in standard depth and deep for each size. The sockets are stamped with their respective size, coated to prevent corrosion, and are a heavy gauge metal. The range of available sizes has covered all of my needs thus far. I would recommend this kit for everyday automotive maintenance and any level of project requiring an impact driver.

Great set! Most importantly it has all the sizes. Some sets leave gaps sequentially, then you have to buy a couple separate sockets and then no slot for it in the case! See that alot with Crftmn. Another plus is the warranty. Lifetime, no questions asked and convenience of running down to HD store. No trying to find the tool truck or mailing back to manufacturer or online seller. Good case with 4 locks instead of just 2. Well thought out.. Reasonable price also.
