This 59-Piece socket set is a comprehensive 3/8 in. Drive collection from Husky. The set provides a wide variety of sockets including SAE and Metric sizes in both standard and deep lengths. The alloy steel construction of both the socket and the bit provides durability and long-lasting performance. The Husky 3/8 in. Full-Polish Ratchet is made of alloy steel to provide excellent durability. The finish provides resistance to corrosion. This ratchet has a 3/8 in. drive and a teardrop-style head with a low profile to allow for excellent access to nuts and bolts in tight locations. The Husky Magnetic Socket Rail is compact storage solution for sockets. The rotating clips let you load and unload sockets easily, while the ball bearing retention system holds the sockets securely in place. This organizer has a sturdy aluminum frame to keep the rails straight and attaches to any steel surface via the solid magnetic plates on the back. Every socket clip rotates a full 360° so you can easily identify your sockets.

I had plenty of 1/2 inch drive sockets, but I lacked a good set of 3/8 inch drive sockets. I selected these for several reasons: 1. it was a complete set of SAE and Metric. 2. It was all 6 point sockets( fit nuts or bolts easier and allowed more torque without rounding the heads. 3. It had both deep well and standard sockets. 4. the fitment range was from 5/32 to 1″ and 7mm to 21 mm on standard, and 5/16 to 7/8″ and 8 mm to 21 mm on deep wells.

I have a lot of Husky Tools and I love them all. And this Husky 3/8 in. Drive SAE and Metric Socket Set is the new member of them. This socket set is heavy duty and should last for many years. And if a socket should break Husky has a Lifetime warranty and will replace it for free. The set has a combination of SAE and METRIC in standard and deep sockets.The Metric sizes are, short metric is 7 mm thru 21mm, deep metric is 8 mm thru 19 mm. The SAE sockets are, short SAE is 5/32″ thru 1″and the deep SAE is 5/16″ thru 7/8″. It also comes with four (4) spark plug sockets, 5/8″, 3/4″, 13/16″ and 18mm. All four have a rubber insert to hold the spark plug in place. All f the sockets are designed to help prevent rounding of nuts and bolts.

Pretty typical ratchet. I used it to work on my vehicle. Time will tell if it’s worth the money. I’m not praising the ratchet yet. Once I throw a few more project behind it, I will re evaluate.Pros: seems sturdy, smooth ratchet movementCons: none yet.
