Just what I needed for the specific job I had to use it for. A standard length Socket would not work.

Just what I ordered

I needed this to remove a frozen nut holding a toilet seat on the toilet. It did grab and turn the nut, but failed to remove the bolt. It gets 5 stars because it is a quality product with a strong warranty, and it had the reach it promised. It reached and grabbed the nut despite a very long bolt. The failure was not with the deep socket, but with the toilet seat, which I know because of trying out the socket that did its job, must nevertheless be destroyed.

did the job. socket deep enough to clear the 1/2″ bolt length to reach nut. size was correct, provided enough grip to loosen.

Seems well made. Now I have a deep set socket this size which can be used for both longer bolts or shorter ones.

I bought a socket. I got a socket. It did not change my life or raise my standard of living. It loosened the nut I needed loosening. It sits in my toolbox now. It may sit there for 43 more years waiting to be useful again. If you have an obscure size nut to loosen, I would recommend this obscure size socket.
