The Husky Tool forever guarantee is for real! Their website states if a Husky Tool breaks they will give you a brand new one. This applies to these sockets. So far they have performed excellently and feel very well made. The set is complete and will meet most any need. The only negative I found (is why only gave 4 stars) was that the set came in individually wrapped sockets without a case of any kind so buy a toolbox or some sort of holding case if you don’t have one.

I’m sure it’s fine. Seems to be good quality. Didn’t need it because it was the wrong size for what my wife told me she needed.

It works fine for the Kohler spark plug for their XT6 line of small engines.

It turned out to be a long shallow socket. Not what I was expecting

No complaints. Simple 10mm, deep socket. I own a toyota so I use this 10mm all the time. Having a deep socket gives me more flexibility when working on my car. Husky is owned by HD so they offer a lifetime warranty should anything happen, but I’m not abusing it or anything. It is not impact ready so only use it by hand.

Just what I wanted, at a reasonable price.

It’s hard to get excited about a socket, even a deep well. It worked and the price was good.

I picked these up because I often have a preference for a 6 point socket when I can find the right sized one at hand. This was a good selection of sizes and they are all the 6 point style. I must have 6 or 7 sets of sockets from assorted manufacturers over the past 35 years. It’s a big mix of styles, types and sizes and some I’ve managed to keep complete while others have had a few lost over time. So it’s good to get a full set of 6 pointers to assure I can just glance at one set and get what I’m after for most jobs. I tried these with 5 different ratchets from 5 different manufacturers – some quick release some not. The best one I had was a Grip brand ratchet while the others ran the gamut from there down to the very very cheap. I also tried them with some Craftsman extensions I had. They fit everything I tried them with smoothly and snugly. They fit tight on the quick release ratchets and released easily. The 6 point gave me a good grip. The only thing I see that perhaps could use a little improvement was the imprinting on them. The type is large and bold which I really like since my vision stinks without reading glasses. But the thing that could be a little better is that while on some the size markings are solid and deep looking on others they appear a little on the light side and a tad faint making them a little harder to read. On those fainter ones I have to be pickier about how I hold it to the light to read it. The consistency there could fare just a little better. I would think those fainter shallower markings could possibly wear down over time with heavy use. But at my age I don’t think that will be a problem for me. They’ll likely last longer than me if I take decent care of them. All in all these compare very favorably with the Grip set that I have. They appear to be about the same quality but the writing on these is a little larger if not as deep so it is a little easier to read. The Grip set I have is complete and kept in its case when not in use and they are all 6 point sockets also but they do not cover quite the size span that these do and more of them are the deep well type. So this set compliments that set well and gives me a bit more variety in sizes.

You probably won’t find better deep-well sockets than these, especially at this price and with a lifetime replacement warranty. And it’s a warranty that really means something—you don’t have to try to track down a manufacturer in Taiwan, just take the broken socket to a Home Depot store and get a new one.All of the sockets I got are very nicely finished—even on the inside. The size is legibly and deeply stamped in large characters into the outside of each socket (see photos), which is more durable than the paint or laser-etching on some other brands—and a million times better than the tiny, practically illegible markings on sockets of old.Since there’s not a lot else to say about a socket, I measured everything I could think of to measure on the 14 mm socket—a fairly common size for spark plugs. At least one customer needed to know the outside diameter of that particular socket, and others may need to know other dimensions that aren’t normally specified. Several photos are attached, showing the actual measurements (and the socket), but I’ll summarize the measurements here, rounding off the numbers:Length: slightly over 2½ inOutside diameter: slightly over ¾ inDepth of well: approx 1¾ inInside diameter of well: slightly over ½ inDepth of 14 mm hex socket: approx ½ inThe length, depth of socket and depth of well are roughly the same for all the other sockets in this series; diameters (obviously) vary, but they all seem to be in roughly the same ratio to the socket size.

The socket was fine. I only got it because it supposedly had thinner wall thickness but it was the same as my other sockets. I initially bought it to fit inside of a tube on a nut with an adjustment screw in the center. The socket walls were not thin enough to fit into the tube and around the nut. Probably another manufacturer who loves to create products that need special proprietary tools to do any work on them. Anyway, I kept the socket and added to the collection. I now have five. It is a decently built socket.

this is a must, if you have a 3/8 or 1/2 drive impact wrench. helps take lug nuts off. most cars, suvs, and small trucks are the same, 13/16’s.
