This is a good ratchet set, and the light is a feature that is really useful. Its so much easier than trying to hold a flashlight for those dark spots that invariably occur even when you don’t expect them to. I would say that most of the time the light is a welome addition. The ratchet set itself is pretty standard; has a good weight and feel, and does the job.

This is another great product from husky. Very sturdy tool set. I absolutely love the fact that it has a little led light so you can see what is going on in tight spaces. I love this set! Highly recommend if you work in tight spaces!

A brilliant idea that works perfectly. So often when working in corners or the poorly lit area/corners of the car where it is hard to focus a flash light on, I ended up spending long time to locate the bolts. SAE Drive Illuminator is a life saver. Once you press the light button, it lights up for about 4 seconds providing enough time and light to engage the bolt correctly and loosen it. My favorite socket wrench set. It’s very sturdy and the case is nicely designed to keep it organised. Only thing that I feel can be made better is how the wrench grips the sockets that needs to be better designed. It’s easy to use straight out of the box.

The light on the socket adapter is great for working in areas that are not well lit. The light stays on long enough to place the socket on the head of whatever you are working with. Great & innovative item!!

So this is a 3/8″ Drive ratchet and set. With all of the basic sockets, no job can ever be left unfinished. The light is an added bonus for those dark situations: under the car, perhaps in the closet, or in the garage when the electric is off. The light is easy to press, and since it is a detachable socket extension, it does not have to be used at all. Pushing the light once, illuminates the light for 3-5 seconds, long enough to see where you’re going. It is quite easy to change out the battery; just need a coin or a flat head screwdriver. I really enjoy the feel of the ratchet, and the ease of switching rotations. It has a good weight to it and isn’t going anywhere. The package by itself makes it easy to store your unused sockets for later, as well.Overall a very enjoyable ratchet and set, and with Husky behind it, I know that I can count on it to last a long time.

The lighted extender batteries were DOA so I was unable to try it out until I replaced them. But wow! My tired eyes really like it. There is just enough light through the socket. The sockets are nice and I really like the ratchet. The etch was light so used my label maker to mark the sockets.

Good ratchet set. the set includes a short extension with a built-in LED that shines through the socket. At first it worked, then it quit. I had to take the batteries out and put them back in and now it works again. It takes 2 little watch batteries that are probably expensive. Handy if you work in dark places.

Picked this up not knowing it was an illuminator. THe illuminator has actually been a pleasant surprise. I’ve just started doing my oil change and have relied on a head lamp. The extra illuminator when taking off the skid plate and oil pan nut has been a plus. Outside of the illuminator, the driver works as expected.

light didnt work. extension kinda odd. prefer 3in extension over this light. could at least come in hard case vs flimsy holder. better set and prices at lowes. got on sale $15 good price for lifetime warranty

Nice standard size set for a user’s first set of sockets. It having both the US SAE sizes from 1/4″ – 3/4″ by 1/8″ increments and then also getting metric sizes too. The handle to the rachet would be nicer if it had a grip to it not just all metal handle. The length is nice too. The lever to switch it from tightening to loosening is a little hard to move unless you wiggle the socket. Still a nice set for the beginner. Merry Christmas Son.

This ratchet set comes with a piece that goes between the ratchet and the socket. This piece has a built in light that shines through the socket to light the way for getting the socket on a nut or bolt. The light piece can be setup for 3 seconds or 3 minutes. Works good. Have not found out how long light battery will last but works as advertised.

The light is not working. There is no case to store sockets; plastic which came with purchase does not hold them.
