This set comes on a clip, and my first instinct was to check two things: what the inside of the socket looked like and what the warranty was. The good news is that the warranty says it is 100% lifetime, which is awesome! I break these all the time. (Yeah, I usually buy the one on sale, whatever brand.) So I have a bunch of loose sockets from different brands. The bad news is that several sockets looked like they already have rust flakes or some kind of discoloration inside in the cracks. They are very thick so I don’t know if those indicate any issues to be on the alert for, but even if they do break I love that I can get the socket replaced.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, fit and finish. The walls of the sockets are well-machined and not too thick. The chrome is pretty consistent and it’s not chipped or corroded anywhere. These sockets are shallow depth and are 6 point hex socket. The sockets fit well on the 3/8″ drive that I have and they fit well on the nuts and bolts I’ve used them on. They are very durable, sturdy and looks like it will last for a long while.

I am very impressed with this 3/8 in. Drive Standard SAE Socket Set (10-Piece) by Husky. They are made from Chromium-vanadium alloy steel and the heat treated for strength. The socket sizes are SAE – 5/16,3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16 and 7/8 in. The sockets are hard stamped with the size in very big numbers, which for this old man is a huge plus!! It also comes with a plastic socket rail foreasy use and storage.

I needed a set of sockets for my “Car Toolbox”, so I bought this set of 6-point sockets. Great finish and sizing is spot on. a very minor gripe that applies to my small tool box is the carrier is a bit long and almost didn’t fit my compact toolbox, again a very minor gripe.
