The Husky SAE/Metric long, ball-end hex bit socket set is a great addition to any tool box or socket collection. This set comes equipped with 3/8 in. drive bit sockets allowing you to tackle wide a range of projects. Bit sockets give you the advantage of accessing fasteners with the reach and tight arc swing of a ratchet that standard folding or L-keys just can’t match.
- Set includes fourteen 3/8 in. drive long, ball-end hex bit sockets: SAE – 1/8 in., 5/32 in., 3/16 in., 7/32 in., 1/4 in., 5/16 in. and 3/8 in. and metric – 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm
- Bit sockets attach to 3/8 in. drive tools, such as a ratchet or breaker bar, providing a longer handle and more leverage than standard hex keys or screwdrivers
- Chamfered lead-in sockets and bit help to provide fast and easy placement onto drive tools and fasteners
- Ball-end design allows the hex keys to be used at an angle to access hard to reach fasteners

Very good product! The ball-end feature works great and the price is very reasonable. Price is slightly more than Harbor Freight’s Pittsburg set, but with better quality. I tried the Kobalt brand first and the ball ends were not machined properly, so they did not work at angles.

I chose these husky ball end tools, because we use this brand at our shop over cheaper or more expensive brands. We use them everyday, 40 hours a week of abuse, and they hold up. Occassionally one would break from improper use, but overall a good tool and the price is right.

Works perfectly. I used them to tighten the bolts on a Mag-Hytec 4L80E transmission pan. Bolts were difficult to reach on the backside. These long reach sockets worked perfectly.

This is my first Husky tool purchase and had no problem giving them a 5 star rating. The allen wrench attaches to a 3/8″ ratchet. What an idea! They are long and have a ball end so the set screw clicks in to place. I have used T handle and knife type allen wrench sets for years and could never get the set screw tight. I bought both metric and SAE.
