Overall I love this socket rack set. It is very simple and straight forward to use plus it is Husky so it has the lifetime guarantee. There are a couple of drawbacks. One it is plastic so I don’t know how easy it will break but I am not going to try. Secondly it looks like it would work better sitting on top of a work bench but it has mounting holes for vertical mounting. It seem like the sockets would fall off easily. I like that the pegs are very clearly marked for sizes plus it has pegs for both regular sockets and deep sockets. It is worth finding a solution for the other issues.

The (3-Piece) Metric Socket Rack Set from Husky is a really good way of organizing your sockets. They come in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ drive. The socket posts are clearly marked and easy to set your sockets in to. Husky tools are known for their quality. and these also come with a lifetime warranty. There are a couple of drawbacks that could need improving. When you hang the rack on the wall, it would seem that the sockets would easily slide off the posts. Also, being made of plastic, I wonder just how sturdy it would be if dropped off the wall. If they remain on the top of the workbench it would be no problem.

Made of plastic so the price made it worth it.

Some of the posts seem a little flimsy. Hopefully it will hold up over time.

Sockets fit, easy to find right socket, seems well made.

Had to return for 2 reason. The first is the some of the pegs would now allow the Husky Socket to slip over. The second would be due to the height. I would not be able to close the drawer on my Husky tool box.

The Husky 3 piece socket rack set does a great job keeping sockets organized both in drive size with the 3 different sized trays (1/2″, 3/8″, and 1/4″ drive) and also ordered large to small (left to right). I love how the pegs stick above the sockets so you can read the size, saves time getting the right size the first time. The trays are sturdy to pick up and walk around with, but I dont plan to move them from my tool box too often since they are made of plastic and the sockets are heavy.Bottom line, this is a great way to store and keep sockets organized and still be able to quickly find and grab ehat you need. I am very pleased with my purchase!

Are you tired of searching for the correct socket and squinting to read the size? Then this set is for you! I am past the days of doing a lot of wrenching and I now have difficulty identifying the size of the socket just by sight especially the metric sizes – I grew up on SAE sizes but now there are metric sizes in common use. This set has pegs that the socket slides down on with the size clearly marked on the top of the peg. The pegs don’t have magnets or clips that hold the socket so they slide off and on very easily. The negative is that they don’t transport well in a tool bag unless you are able to keep them flat in an upright position so the sockets don’t slide off and scatter in the bag (in my opinion, this set is best suited for use in a permanent work area such as a garage where socket sets can be stored in a tool cabinet or on a flat work surface). A great feature is that each “tray” has pegs for standard depth and deep sockets. I plan on getting the SAE set to fully organize my sockets. Lifetime warranty with no questions, no receipt required. Overall, very happy with this product for my purposes and do recommend.

Easiest storage for those who hate trying to read the size of the socket OFF the socket and whose grip strength is not what it used to be to pull sockets off of the hangers!

Great Socket Organizing Racks. Clear white sizes angled for easy reading. Slot for hanging, which is great for intermittent use. Pegs cover range of most used sizes. Small base footprint. Great for portability. Selected these racks to keep sockets handy in tool bags on jobs they are needed. Taking a selection of sockets for a specific job has been an issue- they get lost in the bottom of the bag and taking a full set along is often unnecessary, so these racks solve a problem. Not how they’re typically used, racks too tall to fit smaller rolling tool chest-cabinet combo’s I have, they do work well in tool bags, which I primarily take to jobs, including auto repairs. Racks keep sockets organized and handy. Issues with the racks- some smaller inexpensive sockets don’t slide down shaft, size letters although white are not easily read from above, on ground, but even when on workbench unless at a distance. Some ½ sockets higher than peg. Angled peg base doesn’t tend to let sockets sit vertical, they lean. Otherwise, satisfied with the racks as they perform very well for use in tool bags without taking up much space. Allowing only those sockets needed to be selected while keeping sockets organized and handy. Racks meet expectations.

Husky Metric Socket Rack Set (3-Piece) solves the problem of stray sockets in quite often overcrowded, unorganized tool boxes. This set is designed to be used for metric sockets, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch drives. The trays are dense plastic, and lettering and digits are embossed and painted white, clear and easy to read. The sockets fit perfectly over the trays. Trays fit both standard and deep sockets. Made in Taiwan, these trays come with a lifetime warranty from Husky.Good quality. Easy to use. Easy to load and remove sockets. You couldn’t ask for a better way to organize all your sockets in a tool draw or bench.I rate these 5*s out of 5.Thank you Husky / Ames Tools for allowing me to try your products.Thank you Home Depot Seeds for offering this item to me.

Nice socket rails. Nothing fancy but they fit sockets correctly and are sturdy and attractive enough. Sizes are easy to read. Posts extend beyond the sockets and the bases fit the bolt drive ends correctly, making it impossible to spill your sockets short of turning them upside down. Can be easily transported. A step up above the popular one carried at a competitor. I’d definitely opt for these. I’ve had those other ones and had to modify a few to get sockets to fit. Finally, with a double drawer, even the 1/2” will fit, as you can see in the attached pic.Easy recommendation. Typical Husky product. Good quality at a great price.

SUMMARY: A nice set, comparable to others on the market.BACKGROUND: I have well over 100 metric sockets in different drive sizes and type. Organizing them has always been a concern. I have tried keeping them loose in tools drawers, on different tool rails, on magnetic racks, and in socket racks. The Husky Metric Socket Rack Set looked like it would help organize them.FIT AND FINISH: The material, construction, and appearance seem comparable to other similar products I already own.FEATURES: From the Home Depot page, with my comments as appropriate.• Includes 3 racks designed for 1/4 in., 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. drive sizes, which hold 26, 30 and 34 sockets total, respectively. o Each rack has the most common sizes and the posts are tall enough to stick above sockets so you can quickly identify the size you want to pull.• Fits standard or deep sockets down over the pegs and use the size markers printed on each pegs top to find the right socket for any fastener.• Vertical storage design allowing for storage in limited spaceo This is true, to some extent, for this type of socket rack. But they are not the most compact method for storing sockets. Socket rails are much more compact.• Sturdy, break resistant pegs for durabilityo These aren’t unbreakable, but they are ok for use in a tool chest drawer.• Pegs have size marking for easy socket identificationo This is the best feature of this style of socket rack. The pegs stick up proud of the socket and the size is stamp/painted onto the end. Easy to see at a glance.• 1/4 in. drive peg size range from 4.5 mm to 15 mmo Some smaller sockets would not fit over the posts, but they were cheaper sockets.• 3/8 in. drive peg size range from 6 mm to 20 mm• 1/2 in. drive peg size range from 10 mm to 27 mm• Lifetime warranty with no questions, no receipt requiredo This is another good selling point for the Husky brand. Bring a broke tool in and they will give you a new one.INSTALLATION/USE: I took sockets from several other types of socket holders and populated the holders. They fit into my metric socket/driver drawer well. It is much easier to pull out the socket I need now without having to grab one and read it to get the right one. The downside is, with multiples of the common sockets (10 mm) this type of rack has no way to keep them together. So, I still end up with multiple holders. At least I can grab the first one without looking to hard.On the downside, these take up more drawer space than socket rails. And the ½” drive rack needs at least a 4” deep drawer.SUMMARY: This helped me organize my metric sockets much better than they were. I think it will work for me. PROS: Easy to read, sturdyCONS: Needs 4” drawer, takes up room, some smaller sockets wouldn’t fit over the pegs.

My sockets fit on them perfectly. And it’s easy to read the size of the sockets so you can find them quickly. This was definitely a goodbye.

For the price, they are great, absolutely awesome. I’m glad I purchased two sets. You need to be a little careful with them and they should last just as long as any of the other brands.
