This little 1/4 in drive socket set is perfect for my home needs. Most of my tools are in the garage and I like to have tools for house repair in the house, especially in our Arizona summers when the garage runs well above 100. I don’t like to open door to garage any more than necessary to save on air conditioning. Considering so much is manufactured in other countries it is extremely helpful to have both SAE/Metric Socket in one compact set. They are forged from chrome alloy steel for good durability and strength. The range of sockets is suitable for many of my smaller projects. The ratchet is smooth and the ratchet lever is good and tight preventing accidentally flipping it when working in real tight spaces. The case is fairly compact and the space for each socket is clearly marked with the size in molded in raised numerals. I intend on using my wife’s fingernail polish to highlight the top of each numeral so they stand out clearer and use 2 different colors, white for SAE and blue for Metric.

Great travel or truck tool box socket set. Has a nice selection of the common size SAE and Metric sockets for both home and automotive general repair. Sockets are nice chrome plated with offset corner engagement to not strip bolts heads. Ratchet is of a nice tear drop design with quick socket release button that feels natural in the hand for ease of use. 72 gear tooth design is also buttery smooth with no noticeable back drag. Overall a decent socket and ratchet set.

Love this little set. I really needed something to handle the smaller nuts and bolts and this is perfect and the case is the best. I had a previous set with a junk case so I was really determined to find something better and with a much better case and this was it. I like that fact that when you put the sockets in there, you can really beat on the case and all the bits stay in place without shifting. The tool feels well built and Im sure it will suit my needs perfectly.
