I bought this socket to let me reach some hex-head screws that are buried in deep wells on the back of an IBM Model M keyboard. The socket fit the screw heads, and the wells perfectly. This 1/4″ drive, 7/32″ socket did its job well, and was much less expensive than the other options that I had, for example, purchasing a nut driver, etc. I was able to remove the screws with the socket alone, without a ratchet wrench, because they are steel screws screwed into plastic, hence they are torqued in gently.Should you be wondering: Yes, those of us who type on the old Model M keyboards love them so much that we consider it worth it to repair and maintain them.Over the past few years I have found Husky tools to be accurate and durable. In fact, my torque wrench is made by Husky too and has torqued down cylinder head bolts on three Volvo engines perfectly accurately over the years (along with many, many other things). The engines are still running very well, long after being torn down and rebuilt.

This is a nice set of deep well sockets. I use a 1/4″ drive set for several different jobs around my shop. The deep well is more flexible and they handle tough jobs as well. The size are marked in big letters however they are still hard to read. I wish they were black lined or something that would make them easy to read and quick to grab the right size.

NICE SET OF SOCKETS, THERE IS A SOCKET FOR EVERY SIZE YOU MIGHT NEED IN THIS SET, THE ONLY DOWN FALL IS THERE WAS NO RATCHET INCLUDED WITH THIS SET, I HAVE NOT BOUGHT SOCKETS FOR SOME TIME SO NOT SURE IF THAT IS NORMAL FOR THE RATCHET NOT TO BE INCLUDED! I had several Husky products so I had no problem deciding on the these 1/4″ drive Deep sockets. I have tried several on different bolt heads and they fit very snugly. I also broke out the digital caliper and measured several, all of which were well within spec. They are marked with their sizes in a way that is very readable which I appreciate at my age….I believe my socket wrench would break before these dudes would so I would recommend them highly!

good quality and fit on the hexagon side. it doesnt seem to be wearing at all. its heavy and thick while still having thin enough sidewalls to get it into everything ive worked on (snap-on sidewalls are thinner but not worth the price!). a husky socket price cant be beat, especially with a lifetime warranty. the only issue i have with this and any 1/4 husky socket is where the ratchet end goes into it. its square, but it can also fit in at a 45 degree to square for just a small ways. kind of annoying at times but its not a deal breaker. its hard to explain but if u look at one youll know exactly what i mean.im sure ill lose it before i ever break it or wear it out.

These sockets are perfect for use on my car especially the battery that may have a long bolt to loosen for removal. They are nice and shiny chrome. There is a full set, nothing missing. These fit on my 1/4″ ratchet wrench. They are nice and heavy. They do not feel cheaply made. Just an all around nice product. Shipping package was sufficiently packed. No box damage.
