Though the set is well built and fits the head of almost any type of hex, torx, or multi-point bolt, the sockets, handle and extensions are not compatible with any standard socket set. This means you must either purchase the universal pass through extension kits, or convert back you your standard kit.

The tools are great but the packaging is ridiculous. It took me 10 minutes just to get these loose from the plastic display they came attached too. Overkill to say the least and if theft is that much of a problem where these are manufactured, I would probably move.

Fits my needs. I use the craftsman c3 power tool max access with this set. Works perfectly. I put the 1/4 inch adapter in the craftsman, then add a 3/8 socket tool, allowing me to use standard sockets. See attached pic.

Another of those good Thanksgiving priced offers that I just couldn’t walk past in the store without picking up and purchasing, because although I wasn’t looking for anything and certainly didn’t need it ….. “I’m sure that this will come in handy one day”. Sure enough – within the month I suddenly had a leaking kitchen faucet to remove, and without this pass-thru set would not have been able to reach up and unscrew the securing nut on the underside of the sink top in the very constrained space available. The pass-thru set saved the day and more than paid for itself in just this one unexpected requirement. Glad I’ve got it in my toolbox!

This set is great works when others don’t, but do not loose the extension! You can not buy one you have to buy hole new set. It would be great to be able to get extra extensions.
