Good sturdy hex key set. Only used a few times and haven’t put a lot of pressure / torque on them but seems pretty solid.

Finally, I found a product that has all the sizes I need ,This metric folding ball end Hex key set, is the greatest.Having them as a set certainly has made my life easier, when needing to use a hex, often times I misplaced them, or find that the one I needed wasn’t to be found, ( I am sometimes careless), but with this set, that is a thing of the past. I really like the fact the hex are together, ready for use, something like a measuring spoon set. They are very well made, and easy to use…..

These are a pretty nice set of Allen wrenches. I’ve never had a set with the ball-ends before, and wasn’t sure how that would work. I have a few projects where it is difficult to have the wrench coming exactly straight on (like when removing the airbag from the steering column on my old Audi), and for these situations this set helps tremendously. It’s also nice that they all stay together so I don’t lose individual wrenches. The problem I had with these was that when working with tight bolts, the housing / handle flexes a lot, making it feel like it is just not very sturdy. They never broke for me, but it sure felt like it. Also, I had trouble with all the other wrenches unfolding themselves when I’m using one – I think a velcro strap to hold the rest of the wrenches in the handle would be very helpful.I’m happy with these for normal duty, but if you are working with heavy-duty hex screws, you might want a more heavy-duty set.

When I am in the field I often have to use a hex wrench to remove a set screw and having these two sets I do not have to look any further for the correct size to remove a screw. I like that the SAE and METRIC are separate from each other, it makes it much easier to find the size you are looking for. And with this set the ball end gives you the ability to come in at an angle for those tuff to reach jobs.

These are ball end drivers and so they are nice for reaching into tight corners where you might not have a straight shot at the hex head of a screw. The neck of the drive shaft below the ball should have been milled just a bit deeper because you can only get about 15 degrees of offset, but I was able to get enough offset out of the 5/64′ key to remove the grub screw in the towel bar I needed to re-attach the other day. These fold out of a plastic/overmolded rubber case like a jacknife. The case is soft and a bit distorted. It Doesn’t have the feel of an heirloom quality tool, but for knocking around in your junk box of weird little tools and making sure that you have the right hex key for home repairs, this set is perfect and well worth the price.

Ball ends allow a slight angle, giving a better chance it will clear surrounding equipment.Having them in a set prevents them from getting lost. These tools are borrowed by staff. The previous set were individual Allen wrenches. I kept having to buy replacements when they were missing.

would have given it 5 stars but it did not have one of the sizes I need

Just what I needed but wish I could of bought just the size I need instead of so many different sizes since this type of screw is rarely used. But it did the job.

Good portable tools. Great to pack and works exactly as expected. No surprises here as long as you have a “real” set of allen wrenches to tighten your folding set.
