A very useful set of allen wrenches. The chamfered end makes getting into a well manufactured bolt head almost as easy as for a crappy bolt head, and the ball end serves the same function, plus a little slop for when the bolt head can’t be attacked from straight on. I also appreciated the wrench holder. It’s reasonable tight (no wrenches will fall out), but no great effort is required to remove or replace the wrenches. It’s also labelled nicely; big print even if black on black isn’t my favorite. The wrenches are also clearly labelled, thouh I’d prefer a bolder font.Overall, a very useful set, and well worth the price.

I have to admit that I’m pleasantly surprised by these hex keys. This is not a complete set, there are several skips but I believe the most common sizes are included. This is a good set to toss into a tool bag when making repairs away from your shop. The storage caddy keeps the keys together and organized. The caddy has one side for metric and the other for SAE. The sizes are marked at the top of the caddy but may be difficult to read for some. The size along with the Husky logo are laser etched on the shank of each key and looks pretty cool. What I really liked was the compression ring on the ball end of the key. It really helps hold the key in place when you are using it at an angle. I thought this was kind of gimmicky when I first read the package but hey, it works.

This is a nice set with a number of the the larger SAE and Metric sizes that are typically not available in a lot of sets. To be clear, it does not have all sizes and not many of the smaller sizes of typical sets. For me, it will be a useful addition to other sets I already have because they don’t have the larger sizes. It is advertised as having tougher steel and testing the keys by scratching the surface indicates that it is made of harder metal than some other tools. The claim is that it makes the tool work better when a lot of torque is needed. The latching mechanism of the folding carrier is clever and useful. The carrier material is also a bit elastic and grips the hex-keys well. One really interesting aspect of the tools is the retaining ring (see photo) built into the rounded section of each key. It is designed to retain a fastener and it does seem to offer a bit more holding power than the typical hex key.

I have a large set of husky Allen keys and they are all flat. When you disassemble deck furniture before the winter. It always a pain to insert allen key into rusted bolt. These you can simply wiggle in. Black allen keys are rust. These one I believe rust treated they have stainless look. Again I like ball point tips as they are much easier to wiggle in and out. Husky says that you can unscrew under angle. I haven’t tried it yet, but I remember I had to cut and grind allen key when I was changing fuel filter on my diesel car so tight the space was.

My new go-to Allen wrenches. Solidly built. Easy to find and store in their caddy. Nice long handle for leverage on those tight bolts. The compression ring and the ability to get to the bolt from an angle are very useful.Like many people, I have a bucket of random Allen wrenches from various assembly-required projects. I think I may toss those and use just these Husky wrenches going forward.

Really like the feel and size of Hex Keys. They hold tight and lock in place really well. The holder holds the keys pretty well they slide out easily. Happy with the purchase.

This 10-piece Hex Key Set is really nice and packaged for easy accessibility. You get five metric and five SAE long-reach keys. The cady is marked so it’s easy to find the size you are looking for. The compression ring design provides pressure on the inside cavity of fasterns for maximum grip. The ball-end provides greater angle of entry into fasteners. These Hex Keys should last a long long time.

Has all the necessary sizes and great design.

These worked very well. Much better than a set that’s all attached to a holder. You can put some serious torque on the individual tools.

The compression key set comes in a variety sizes. The selection is such that it makes it easy to have a key that will fit any job. The keys are sturdy and easy to handle. I like having that the heads on the keys fits easily into the sockets that I need to work on. The quality of the keys met and exceeded my expectation. The keys come in a case for convenient storage.

Seem to be well made, There are 5 each of SAE and Metric Allen wrenches, ranging from 5/32”-3/8” and 4-10 mm. The ball ends have compression rings to hold the screws. I tried the 8mm wrench on a large socket screw on my progressive reloading machine. The length was good to reach the screw and held in well to extract the screw. The set is made in China.

I really like this set. It comes in a rubber case that folds, and locks in half to provide more room in your Toolbox, or Tool Belt. This set contains the nominal sizes, and is a Compression, and Ball end set. The compression on the Ball end allows you to hold the Bolt Horizontally, or Vertically without falling out. This is extremely useful when trying to access bolt holes that are hard to get to without the Bolt falling out. The Ball end allows you to access bolts that you do not have a straight on access to. The Chamfered lead-ins on the hex end allow you to enter fastener heads that are not readily visible. This set is designed with a mechanic/Technician in mind.

The only reason that this hex key set didn’t get five stars is because it lacks smaller hex keys that I normally need. I recently disassembled a bed and resembled it which had a about 20 hex bolts. I was really impressed with how the well tapered ends worked to effectively install and remove hex bolts in tight spots where angled use was necessary. Bottom line- worth it but need smaller sizes.
