I needed to remove two Motor home Cockpit chairs. The frame on the chairs only left 1.5″ to access a nut and bolt that held the base to the Motor home floor. This open ratcheting box wrench made the job so easy it took me half the time I had previously spent removing the chairs. Great tool. ( no banged up knuckles either)

Well made and useful set of tools but, not a complete set. Hence the 3 stare rating. This is just the most common sizes, which works most of the time. But it seems like more often I need the size not included, like the 15mm. Comes in this nifty plastic case which has a snap closer to hold the tools in place. Even has a nice handle to carry the set to your job, which comes in very handy for a shade tree mechanic like myself.

Ideal for tight fit spaces that a regular socket can’t fit and not have to reposition like a regular box end wrench.

The ratcheting box wrenches are great. I just wish there was an obvious marking on which way they turn, like an arrow or a red dot. I find I need to spin the wrench by hand to get the direction right. The alternative is having to flip it over about half the time.

Husky wrenches are a plus to any tool set. These wrenches are so easy to use its not funny. They are geared so you are not taking a 1/2 turn to get the bolt or nut to move 1/16 of a turn with lots of effort. They are geared close so you get max power out of each turn of the wrench Polished for a professional look to your tools is a plus. They clean up very easy and are so easy to use. They are worth their weight in gold when you need a metric wrench to do the job. BE SAFE

They only ratchet in one direction. Other brands have a selector like a standard drive has.

I bought 2 sets. One standard and one metric for my husband for Christmas. He has already used them. He keeps thanking me for them. I guess he loves them.

I bought these wrenches to get at a nut that is stainless steel fiber on the bottom of the cleats of the dock. The nut is underwater these worked perfect. I was going to use a deep socket but could not get it to the nut. These are strong and flat to get into the tight area just above the 4 inch I beam. After I was done I just laid it in the sun to dry out and not rust.

Sometimes you need to work in tight places (when working on the car, nearly always) and I’d heard that this style of wrench performs well when there is little room to operate a box wrench, let alone a ratchet. I needed an SAE wrench set, so I thought I’d give these a try. I am NOT disappointed!Husky is not a brand I’ve used before (Craftsman is my go to) and I was sort of expecting the same experience I’ve had with most Stanley hand tools, which means “okay”. Craftsman has treated me better most of the time.I’m not a pro, but I’m a fairly brave DIYer, and I like my tools to work right and to last a decade. So far, the feel and the function of this wrench set has been excellent. The only issue I’ve had is that the set was packed poorly, which left the case they came in smashed and unusable. Too bad, since it looked decent and I like to hang my wrench sets for easy access (and so I know at a glance when someone has “borrowed” one.)- surfaces are mirror polished with no uneven lines or tool marks- very comfortable in your hand- they really do work well in tight spaces- ratcheting is very fine, much smaller arc than my sockets- the socket pattern fits firmly on most any type of head, even a few of my deformed onesI’ve not put a lot of pressure on them (no cheater bar, yet.)One improvement I would suggest; there is a small symbol indicating which side should be up for tightening (normal threads), but for my eyes a larger symbol would be very well. Maybe even something like a groove across the shaft that could be felt as well as seen.
