The Husky HDUFL50 Pneumatic 3-in-1 15.5-Gauge and 16-Gauge 2 in. Flooring Nailer and Stapler with Quick Jam Release is specifically designed for the installation of tongue and groove hardwood flooring. This air powered flooring nailer and stapler is compatible with 16-Gauge L-cleats, T-cleats, and 15.5-Gauge 1/2 in. crown staples from 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. for all 3 types of fasteners. 3 interchangeable base plates are included and allow you to install flooring from 5/8 in. to 3/4 in. Upgraded with a quick jam release in the foot, you can clear jammed fasteners fast and easy and get right back to work. This rugged flooring nailer/stapler combo is constructed of high strength aluminum and heat treated steel parts, making it lightweight and durable. A no mar base provides protection from damage to finished flooring surfaces, ensuring professional results for DIYers as well as construction contractors. The comfort grip handle helps reduce fatigue and increase control when using for long spans of time. However there were a few very good ratings and the price was definently right.Long story short, the Husky nailer performed flawlessly. I laid about 200sqft of 3/4″ hardwood flooring with zero jams or problems of any kind. I absolutely recommend this product

Very easy to use and takes universal sized “cleats” or staples. My husband and I found this model to be light weight, efficient and very easy to load and use. This was our first time laying tongue and grove, fir wood floor. This nailer rarely jammed, making the job less time consuming and stressful than it could have been. I highly recommend this product!

Throw the support foot in the trash, poor design. You will be driving fasteners in the middle of the flooring.boards. This one is overpriced, buy for less than, $100.00

Good homeowner grade tool. My project was about 350 square feet of flooring. Got the job done. Just remember to oil the tool a lot. Tool at one point would not reload after firing a nail. Had to also add oil to the striker so it would retract. Good tool for your own house, a pro should spend the money on better tool.

I bought this tool to complete a 500 sq ft area (two bedrooms and a hallway). I initially rented a nailer from my local HD. The rental unit was not maintained well and kept jamming, causing delays, aggravation, and wasted material. So I returned the rental and bought this Husky to complete the project. It worked perfectly! After my experience with the rental unit, I was glad that the Husky had a quick-jam release. I’m glad to say that I did not have occasion to use it. I did notice that the Husky required a heavier strike than the Dewalt. So it might be tiresome to use this in a professional setting every day. For my purposes it was perfect. I also like that it shoots both nails and staples. Now I only wish I had more floors to install.
