Husky 5 piece ratcheting flex head wrench set. Well I have been around and doing mechanic work since I was about twelve years old and in all those years I have seen a lot of new tools appear on the market including some really nice ones. When I saw the Husky 5 piece ratcheting flex head wrench set, I wanted to give them a try and did. I was and still am very impressed with them especially the flex head which is firm enough to keep it at the right angle while getting into those very hard to reach spots. And when you get the very smooth ratcheting box end on the bolt or nut, the hard part is over! An excellent set with five of the most popular sizes and you also have the opened end wrench on the other end of each one. This 5 piece ratcheting flex head wrench set is a very nice looking set and a great and very handy tool by Husky . Highly recommended!

I bought both metric and sae sets. They are nice but not built as strong as hoped. I think for basic work they would be fine. I needed mine for tractor repairs. For the price nothing wrong. I returned them to purchase a much more expensive set. The replacement set is 3x heavier. But for $40.00 they are a good set.

For the job I need them for they worked out good. I don’t use them daily but if I did I don’t think they would last long.

I really enjoy using these swivel head ratcheting wrenches. They eliminate the pinched fingers I usually get when using a straight wrench, in similar situations. Also eliminates the hassle of getting the old socket set out and getting the right socket to do a small job.

I have been using this set for a little over one month on various jobs and my initial impression is that they are very well made. Many years ago I owned a similar wrench with a ratchet function which was more of a “gimmick” as the unit was very flimsy. Happy to say these wrenches are real “tools” which I anticipate lasting for many years. The ratchet grips very well – I used these wrenches on occasion when I just didn’t feel like getting out the socket set. The pivoting neck has just the right amount of stiffness that I had no problem with accidental pivots. Only complaint, and it may just be my technique, but using the wrench with the neck pivoted / bent was not easy. One other plus – the package can be screwed into a wall and becomes storage for the wrenches which is a pretty cool.

I got these wrenches because sometimes there just isn’t enough room for a standard combination wrench to rotate a nut or bolt out, and not enough clearance for a socket. I viewed this as a special tool. After using these wrenches on several projects I think that these wrenches should replace the standard combination wrenches in any toolbox. They have the weght and feel that I expect of a quality tool, the ratcheting end operates with just a few degrees of swing for tight spots and the flex feature inreases it’s versatility. The heavy chrome finish is very nice, I anticipate many years of use from these wrenches.
