Husky 1/2 in. drive impact bit sockets are forged from chrome molybdenum alloy steel (Cr-Mo) and designed to withstand rigors of heavy-duty auto and industrial use. Size markings have been laser etched and hard stamped into the sockets for quick and easy identification that will never wear away. Husky impact bit sockets are designed to withstand high torque and impact forces commonly associated with impact power tools. Includes seven 1/2 inch drive impact bit sockets: T40, T45, T47, T50, T55, T60, T70

- Industrial 2-piece design allows the hex bit to be easily removed and replaced if ever damaged

This Husky 1/2 in. drive hex bit socket set is a nice addition to any tool set at a good price. Size markings have been etched and stamped into the sockets so will not wear away with use, and it is easy to read the socket size. The set was designed for use with impact drive tools, with a pin hole at the base of each socket for use with a locking pin to attach to drive tools securely. Husky tools have always seemed to be good quality. I am not a professional, but do quite a bit of DIY/ mechanical work. So, moderate usage. Better than off brands and allowed me to put significant torque without any slippage. Would recommend.

The small grub screw holding the hex bit in place, keeps loosening during impact driving/loosening procedures.Guess it could be thread locked in place or center punched in place. I suppose the hex bit could be removed and used with a wrench in tight spots.Hex bit held up so far after 2 uses.

It worked great. I especially liked that it is removal from the drive socket. I needed it removed due to space limitations, and used an open end wrench on the tool.

These sockets look to be well made . I’ve only used the 5/8 size so far and it worked well . The set screw that holds the bit in place worked loose while I was using it . I tightened the screw and it was fine after that . I would recommend keeping an eye on the set screws especially the first few times the sockets are used . I like that you can flip the bits over or change the bit if damaged . I mean Home Depot would most likely replace it if damaged , but the option of being able to do it might get the job done NOW . I imagine you could also remove the allen bit in a pinch and use them as a 6 point socket .
