The adapter is manufactured using Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel (Cr-Mo) for added strength and durability. The oil impregnated black oxide finish helps provide corrosion resistance.

This is made for impact wrenches and some times I need to use a 1/2 inch socket on my 3/8 impact wrench so this has come in very handy.It is well made and comes with a black coating which is holding up well.The Husky logo is laser etched but the dimensions are stamped in.It has a detent for the wrench and a spring loaded ball lock for the socket.This is one of those accessories like a U joint adapter that every tool box should have.

Looks good and works fine. This Husky adapter enables a 3/8 inch male socket driver to connect to a 1/2 inch female socket. The adapter has a 3/8 inch female connection and a 1/2 inch male connection. The size is clearly identified. It fits nicely on the socket driver and into the socket. It’s strong enough to withstand any force that I can apply. If you need to connect a 3/8 inch socket driver to a 1/2 inch socket, this adapter does the job.

This is a great 3/8 in to 1/2 in adapter was really wanting one just never had to time to go get one and I got this one and it fits well on my drill so I can work with it using my cordless drill now. So I can use both sizes now instead of going to search for something in my shed I cant find right now. My tools are scatter everywhere I have three buildings and have tools in everyone of them. Tis is very strong and works well for me no problems with the adapter.

The Husky 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch adapter is made of strong chrome molybdenum alloy steel which is made to last. Can also be used with impact tools or common hand tools. The socket adapter also comes with the Husky lifetime tool warranty in case you have a problem. The sockets that are used with this adapter stay on firm and will not come off the adapter easily.

This is one of those got to have tools, There have been many times I’ve run into larger bolts & nuts with not enough room to swing a 1/2″ ratchet. I’ve also had times I where I wanted to use my Milwaukee M12 battery powered 3/8″ ratchet with 1/2″ regular & deep sockets. I’ve had other adapters that do the same thing, but this is better for several reasons. First it’s easier to handle as it’s not smooth chrome as my other ones are; with oily & greasy fingers the chrome adapter is a pain to get on and off. Second it has an indented area that makes it easer to grab to take it off. Third it’s a little wider than the usual adapters, again for better handling. The fourth and biggest point is it’s rated to be used with impact drivers. This is a well made adapter & can be used by a pro in an every day use setting.
