Needed to use some of my 1/2″ sockets (due to size needed) but rather than go buy a whole new set of sockets that I will not use all that much was much more cost effected to just get the adapter. Now I can use all of my sockets on the impact driver with the 3/8″ head by just changing from 3/8″ to 1/4″ or 3/8″ to 1/2″ even have one for 1/2″ to 3/4″. Now my collection cover all the sizes and don’t have to switch to a larger heaver impact driver if not required. Good to have all sized just in case

For years, I have wanted an adapter like this! I have adapters to convert a 3/8 drive down to a 1/4 socket, and a 1/2 down to a 3/8, but have never found one that adapts in the opposite direction. It may not seem like a big deal to some folks, but I was excited to find this Husky 3/8 in. F to 1/2 in. M Adapter! There have been more than a few times where I needed a larger socket in my 1/2-inch collection, but lacked the room to swing a 1/2-inch drive ratchet, yet a smaller 3/8 ratchet would work just fine. Leave it to Husky to anticipate things we mechanics need to make life easier! Now, to find a 1/4 F to 3/8 M adapter! Thanks Husky, and Home Depot!

A simple thing, but really necessary. I have two sets of some 3/8 and some 1/2 inch pieces. I know there must be some reason why two popular sizes are made but I only know that without this adapter I can’t use half of my sockets. :/ This is really solid feeling, heavy and well made, IMO. It worked very well to adapt to my other sets. I am very happy with this.

what a great addition to any tool box. The ability to use a smaller ratchet to get into to tighter spaces with this 3/8 adaptor for 1/2 in sockets. The design is well thought out. The adapter is very sturdy and well constructed. It locks on to the ratchet very well and there is no worry of it coming off while using it. The ball for the sockets to be put on to it keeps the socket snug also with no worry of coming off it. A great product that will last a lifetime.

As long as you have a 3/8 drive to adapt to, perfect. I almost bought the wrong one!
