This set of TORX keys from Husky covers 9 of the most commonly found TORX fastener sizes. Each key features a magnetic long arm that works with standard TORX fasteners and a short arm that works with Tamperproof TORX fasteners. Heat treated and formed from S2 tool steel, these keys are durable enough to stand up to a lifetime of use.

My 2013 car battery needed replacing and its in the trunk behind/beneath lots of panels. Naturally, one took a T45 Torx and the largest I had was a 40. This set was a great way to get a 45 and get a set that was also magnetic and worked with tamper proof Torx in case I needed either down the road.I like the handy, well marked organizer. I never liked how many L-key sets come in bags you have to dump them all out to find the one you want.Likewise, many L-keys are a black color which require a lot of squinting to read the size stamped on the smaller sizes. The silver color of these is so much easier to read when you have more than one out for whatever you’re working on.Only the short arm is for tamperproof Torx and only the long arm is magnetic. Basically, Husky pressed a magnet into the tamperproof hole in the long arms. You don’t need magnetic to break a fastener loose which you would do with the short arm for maximum leverage with the long arm. Since I don’t have any tamperproof torx to try these on, I hope that once a tamperproof fastener has been broke loose with the short arm, it won’t be a problem spinning them out with the long magnetic end that does NOT have the tamperproof hole. It wouldn’t be ideal to have to use the short arm to spin it out where there isn’t room to spin the long arm full circle or you need the magnetic feature to avoid dropping it when it’s all the way out.
