The Husky 5-3/4 inch tire pressure gauge works great. It is calibrated from 10 psi to 120 psi and is as simple as it gets. To batteries to mess with. It’s an all metal durable construction and has a pocket pen style clip. It also has a four sided bar with the psi and kPa scales right on it for 360 degree reading. It even come with four replacement valve stem covers for convenience.

This is a good solid metal pressure gauge. As a motorcycle rider, I use it often. It has solid construction and it seals very well when using it so you get the measurement in one try without accidentally losing extra air. It comes with 4 spare caps in case you lose yours early. The measurements are printed clearly and easily read. My only complaint is that the measurement marks between the numbers are in increments of 2. I would prefer 1 psi increments to get more precise readings.

We have a fancy digital tire pressure gauge, but my daughter prefers a regular one, so we got the Husky 5-3/4 Inch Pressure Gauge. It is the standard pencil-type gauge that fits over the valve and utilizes the tire pressure to move a psi measuring stick. The device is simple to use and the markings on the measuring stick are easy to read. I like that the Husky gauge comes with a set of four valve stem caps because I inevitably lose one over time when in the course of checking tire pressure or filling my tires.

Each year I buy a new cheap tire pressure gauge and over the winter it breaks or won’t read the pressure. The great thing about Home Depot and their products is that they only carrying quality heavy duty products for more than a few uses. This is the case with the Husky Tire Pressure Gauge. It is much heavier to hold in your hand and the read slide feels like it is sliding on silk. Definitely something I will not be buying again in the spring.

I got this to check the tire pressure on my motorcycles. Having the correct tire pressure on a motorcycle is even more important than on a car or truck. The device is small and light weight, which is also perfect to carry on a motorcycle. The read-out is in kPa and in psi, which is likely because they want to sell it in Canada too.I checked this device against other ones that I have and it seems to show the correct pressure. The scale is rather small and shows the pressure only in 2 psi increments. For everyday checks I use a pressure gauge that is easier to read, but for on the road this one is perfect.

Very accurate tire pressure gauge by Husky. Can read pressure from 10 psi to 120 psi. Small and compact to fit in a glove box or tool box. I tested this against what a friend’s tire shop gauge read and it was accurate. Easy to read numbers and comes with 4 stem caps which was handy since I was missing 2. This is a great value for a tool that I have often needed but didn’t have! I think this will make a nice stocking stuffer to buy for all the people in my family this Christmas.

I was looking for an old time PSI Tire pressure gauge as I am not always sure how accurate the automatic ones are. Plus I needed it to be small enough to throw into my glove compartment. This fit the bill. It is a substantial weight. Light, but not too light that it feels flimsy. Decent. Took an accurate reading of my tires on my car and tractor. Easy to use. Not complicated.

I am reviewing my new Husky tire gauge. It’s a pencil style gauge equipped with a four-sided slide-out measurement stick with the readings for both PSI (pounds per square inch) and kPa (kilopascal) scales, calibrated up to 120 psi or 800 kPa. The red and black digits for each measuring system respectively, are imprinted on a contrasting white background for the added ease of reading. Maintaining the proper tire pressure is very important as improper pressure can adversely affect tires. Low tire pressure increases braking distance and generates heat in the tires, leading to their increased wear. Overinflated tires can put pressure on the tires as well therefore tires need to be replaced sooner. Hence a quality tire gauge is a must to have, and here it comes. This Husky gauge features durable metal construction in shiny chrome finish, angled chuck and a handy pocket clip for the visor organizer, so you can easily find it when needed. It is portable, lightweight and doesn’t take much space. You know its quality when you hold this gauge in your hands. Being made of metal not plastic, it has a good weight to it which in itself is telling of its good quality. The name Husky is prominently imprinted on the metal casing, that I know won’t disappoint. I have a high confidence in this brand; I own several Husky products that do exactly what they are supposed to and are going strong. Back in the day before having this gauge, I have tried a variety of other pencil gauges, yet none were accurate or well made. Most of them were made of plastic and unreliable. I even tried battery operated ones that proved to be overly sensitive to the outside temperature changes as well as the battery life. They didn’t work correctly in the winter. Besides, changing the battery was an extra hassle but not with this gauge. Nothing beats the accuracy and reliability of this Husky tire gauge; it is solid built, durable and accurate. It truly feels like a professional tool and it works to this premise. It always gives good consistent readings, works easily and perfectly. The package also includes four valve stem covers that you can never have too many of. Bottom line, I am happy with this tire gauge and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to properly maintain their car tires.

Most newer cars and trucks have tire pressure monitors as standard equipment. Most of these alert the driver when tire pressure is low and some even read out the exact pressure in each tire. I own a couple of older vehicles that do not have tire pressure monitors an old 3 speed English Racer bike that seems to lose air frequently. This Husky brand tire pressure guage is perfect for those situations. It is made of metal so it is strong and durable and can take the wear and tear inflected by storage in a tool box or glove compartment. Also much more accurate than guessing tire pressure by observation or other methods.

This is probably one of the most overlooked items among vehicle owners, and it’s so important to regularly check your tire pressures – for safety’s sake, and fuel economy. This gauge is manufactured by Husky, a great brand in hand tools (I have several), and the gauge body is metal. The gauge is easy to use, is of better quality than the cheapie plastic ones I’ve owned in the past, and the numbers on the gauge are easy to read. It’s also a brilliant idea to have included valve caps with the gauge – I’ve frequently forgotten to reattach these at the filling station, and you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to actually find spares at some garages. Get a good tire gauge (like this one!), keep it in the car, and check your tires, people (every other fill-up, or at least once a month.)
