I use small magnets to hold pins and notes and when I saw the large magnetic tray it made sense. It adheres to a metal rolling cart I use for projects. It can even be put on a nice wood table due to its double disks of non-scratching rubber feet. Best of all, the problem of nails and screws that fall to the floor and roll out of sight is eliminated and all the washers and other bits stay together during a multi-day project.
