HUSKY SERPENTINE BELT TOOL SET (15-PIECE).. While you can do this job without these tools , these tools make the job so much easier, its well worth it for a DYI, this will come in handy on the road too. I replaced my belt on both cars and I keep the old belts in the trunk with this tool, down the road if anything should happen I can count on using this tool and the old belt to get back on the road. This could be a huge saving. In the end, there is not much you can do without the belts in a break down. This is a well made kit come with everything you need, well thought out. The case is very nice and stores very easy

This 15-PIECE SERPENTINE BELT TOOL SET comes in its own carrying case which makes for easy storage and ease of finding when you need it. The set comes with an assortment of seven (6-point) pass through sockets. It also comes with three crows foot wrenches. It also comes with three specialty drive adapters. It comes with one double box end wrench and one long bar for extra leverage. This kit works very well for your serpentine belts.

For anyone who’s had to replace a serpentine belt without this tool set, don’t get caught again. BUY THIS SET! We replaced a serpentine belt on a Ford F-150 without this tool set. Difficult, frustrating, and with busted knuckles and language not suitable for children. Just got this set in time to help son change the serpentine belt on his SUV. Difference was like night and day. Great weight, feels sturdy, cleaned up like new. This set is a keeper for anyone who works on their own vehicles.

I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this HUSKY 15-Piece Serpentine Belt Tool Set Part# 1004 726 971. The sizing is stamped and fairly easy to read. It seemed each part was built with a precision focus. The secondary wrench (chrome) is ratcheting. One box end is designed to mate with the primary handle and the opposite end was designed to fit any of the fastener removing heads. The primary handle (black) is quite sturdy. If there was one knock, it would be the rubber handle…it can be improved upon. Now the business end of this handle, there is a doubled nut sandwiching a rubber o-ring. The o-ring protrudes purposely which is designed to hold the secondary wrench on the nuts allowing the user to perform the work one-handed in a ergonomically pleasing manner. Two thumbs up!

All of my vehicles have serpentine belts, so this tool set has saved me a lot of time and money, being able to change the belts by my self at home (no more dealer costs). With this set took me about 15 minutes to change the belt. The set comes with all of the pieces required to change belts on almost any vehicle. The tools are well made of high quality materials with chrome plating to avoid rust problems. All are packaged in a nice container with good latches for easy storage and handling. Well worth buying this set if you are a home mechanic.

One of the best versions of this tool I’ve ever seen. The only problem is that it might be a little short in some engine compartments but it will work nevertheless.

This kit work good as intended. Made the job so much easier. The only thing I found when using it in my case was getting the wrench into the adapter bar in the right area I was working is wasn’t the best but I made it work.

I struggled with replacing serpentine belts with a couple other brands. This one fits the bill….perfect for the job and fits into very tight spaces, yet it also has enough length for leverage to retract the tensioner pulley to easily replace the belt!

From semis to trucks to cars, changing the belt always presents its own set of obstacles to overcome. Tight spaces, awkward angles, short reach and multiple configurations require a multitude of different tools to get the job accomplished. Husky has attempted to address those issues with this all inclusive serpentine belt tool set. The 9” stainless steel ratcheting wrench, reversible by flipping over, holds pass through sockets and the drivers securely, while the 1/4 inch driver has an o-ring to hold the crowfoot wrenches in place. All of the pieces are stainless steel except the extension arm. The 72 tooth ratchet requires only a 5 degree turn to grab another gear which is great in tight spaces. The 22” extension arm fits into 12 tooth, non ratcheting side of the wrench and is held in place by an o-ring, not securely, but well enough to stay. The extension arm can really help getting good leverage at multiple angles and has a rubber grip to grab onto. Now let’s talk about practicality in all vehicles. My 2001 accord with a side mount motor doesn’t have enough room to fit this tool. In order for this to be used there must be at least an inch and a quarter to an an inch and a half of room to get this thing in there. On all of the other vehicles i tested it on (all regular mount) there was plenty of room to work with, making this set a great option. It’s definitely an item of great quality, backed by a lifetime warranty, it just does not work on every vehicle.

This is a well thought out serpentine belt removal kit. It does a great job at getting your hands and knuckles away from all the pinch scrape and crush points you typically deal with when relieving the tension on a serpentine belt. I like that ratcheting wrench and extension handle have indents that keep the adapters/ sockets in place while you remove the belt. Husky included many different adapters, crows foot and sockets to make sure that this kit will work with the majority of automotive makes and models. These tools are plenty strong for removing a serpentine belt, but they are not rated for use with impact wrenches.

Great product. Replaced belts on my cars and my dad car fast and easy. Loved that the set had an assortment of sizes for a variety of cars

It was great to use, felt great , made force be less of a problem, didn’t break on first day of use, can pull tensioner on 2000 corolla

I bought this for removing the fan/clutch and serpentine belt tentioner on my Ford Ranger, and it worked great. I can see other applications for it in the future, especially with all the sockets and adapters that come with it. The reason I only gave four stars is (1) the adapter on the stationary black handle is a hex – I think it would have more applications if the adapter were a 3/8″ drive square, where any 3/8″ drive tool could be used on just the black handle; and (2) the ratcheting extension for the sockets would be more useful if the ratchet could be locked (so it wouldn’t ratchet). Overall, a great tool that is very versatile.

Excellent tool. Good quality, works well but bar could be a bit longer for more leverage.

Easy to use and practic in dificults place to work.

I bought this set because of the flexibility in choice of attachments. Unfortunately, that flexibility is it’s main weakness. As I applied pressure to move the tensioner pulley, the inserted parts would pop off at the slightest wiggle. I actually dropped 2 different pieces into the engine and had to remove the bottom cover on my car to retrieve them. Great idea, but the implementation needs work.
