The quality of this tool seems pretty good and it’s nice to have all the stuff together in one place, but I’m not sure if there’s much advantage to this kit over a traditional serpentine belt tool or just a regular set of sockets and combination wrenches. Some modern cars have so little clearance that even the depth of a socket plus the tool can be challenging to get in there, so an open end wrench is the best option. All that being said, it is nice to have the ratcheting end of the wrench in this kit so you can control the angle of the tool. I thought the length might leave something to be desired, as some serpentine tools offer more leverage, but it’s really not too bad, and if you’ve changed many serpentine belts, you know that you’re often working with just a wrench or a ratchet anyhow.

The tool seemed to work as described with no issues.

Over the many years that I have worked on cars I have changed many Serpentine belts, and even though I have always been a “tool guy” and usually had at least one of every hand tool made, it seemed as though I never had all the “right” tools to make removing/replacing a serpentine an easy job! This Husky Serpentine Belt 15 piece tool set may not make the job a “piece of cake”, but if you don’t have it, you certainly will wish you did! When you consider the quality and the “lifetime” warranty, you can be confident that this will probably be a once in a lifetime purchase.

Used this on a 06 CR-V which is rather tight to get to. Would have loved to put the claw on the provided adapter but there wasn’t enough room without removing the power steering line (not to reservoir). The claw works on the handle just fine but you have to be careful since it is at an angle. My other vehicles will work just fine with the ratchet wrench and handle. I am not certain if the ratchet wrench is trusted yet but am believe it should be fine, just watch where you put those finger in case it slipsI have no issues with recommending this tool for those need to replace those drive belts.

This is one of those tools that when you need it, it’s a life saver. No more skinned knuckles. I am taking an out of state hunting trip soon and wanted change the belt on my truck along with some hoses. The last time I tried this with regular wrenches, it did go well. Got this set to eliminate that problem, and I am so glad I did. Changing the belt was a breeze now that I have the proper tool. It has a variety of 6 pt sockets to fit any idler pulley. The ratchet wrench has a short degree arc for tight places. The open end pieces and adapters lets you work in any situation. The rubber end on the bar lets you comfortably put pressure on. Nice addition to my tool set
