I haven’t put these wrenches “to the test” yet (i. e. abused), but using them on new assemblies has been easy. They seem to be sized correctly, and I haven’t had any “strength” issues. I haven’t had the need to stress them out yet, such as breaking frozen nuts and bolts, but they have performed flawlessly on tasks with new hardware. Also, I haven’t had the need to use the Husky warranty, but I’m confident it won’t be a problem at Home Depot if needed. I like the highly polished chrome finish, although the wrenches can be a little slippery, especially if oil and grease are involved. Overall, this is a good purchase and a good value.

It is nice to have a wrench set that is capable of multi-tasking. The set boasts of being able to perform on various fasteners. Torx, Metric,SAE, and others. I have used them on both Metric and SAE applications they do work. I ran into an issue with an over tightened nut that became over stripped in a hurry. I Know that these dont replace every wrench in the box but I do like them

I’ve been making do without a metric wrench set for far too long, and this set is just great. Some of the other sets I looked at didn’t have all sizes from 8mm through 15mm (a 17mm and 19mm are also included in this set). The box ends consist of spline teeth, which allows for a use on a larger variety of fastener head types, including square, hex, and 12-pointed. The chrome vanadium construction is made to last, and if I do manage to break one of them somehow, Husky offers a “Guaranteed Forever” lifetime warranty stating, “If your Husky hand tool ever fails, bring it back and we will replace it free.”As an added bonus, the wrenches also come in a reusable carrying case that holds them in place fairly securely. I’m not expecting it to hold up to much abuse though, it seems like it’s made of pretty lightweight plastic.

Bought to finish a brake job. I had a couple 17mm bold that were very frozen. Also had a few 12mm and 14mm bolts that were frozen. Slipped the 12 point end on to the bolts, and beat them with a 16 oz hammer. I expected a little stripping of bolts, but none occurred. Chrome flaked where I beat on them and some dings occurred… But they were being beat with a hammer… I was expecting that.Good wrenches for the money.

I bought a metric set of wrenches because, you know, SAE doesn’t fit everything. I found using a metric wrench in the right application worked out well mainly because they fit the item the SAE wrench doesn’t. Makes it much easier to turn. I have kept the case the wrenches came in because it keeps them in order, making it a little easier to remember which one didn’t fit while determining the size necessary for the job.
