- Bit Sockets attach to 3/8 in. drive tools, such as a ratchet or breaker bar, providing a longer handle and more leverage than standard hex keys or screwdrivers

With the use of more Torx bolts on our cars it has become something we all need a tool like this, even some of other tools have more and more Torx bolts in them. But with this set you now have a better chance to remove them without causing harm to them as using a ratchet to crank them gives you better control, not only for removal but also for setting them back in place.

This is a good set for the money. I don’t use these type of sockets often, so I didn’t need high quality. I purchased this set and the metric and SAE allen sets. Again, good product the price. They all come with socket holders so they are easy to store in your toolbox.

bought a set from the “cheapo” store that broke on me, rushed and got this set that did the job spectacularly, you can tell the difference, better defined edges on the socket and sat perfectly on the bolt head and more important did not break on me like the cheapo set, which was not that much cheaper. Just my experience.

Just what I needed to get the top off my Bronco. I don’t understand why they call them tamper proof when the tools are easily accessible at Home Depot, but I’m glad I was able to get them quickly. The tamper proof ones are a little less firm in the bolts than standard ones, so I wouldn’t buy these and expect to use them in place of your standard Torx sockets unless you have to.
