The 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. Drive Universal Mechanics Tool Set (33-Piece) has a wide variety of sockets, opened end wrenches and closed end wrenches that are well constructed and useful when preforming a multitude of tasks around the house. One of the features I appreciate the most is the molded carrying case with compartments for each of the 33 tools. The case can be carried in one hand for easy transport of the tools between work projects.

I ordered this set to keep in my car. Its the perfect size and it has a very compact and sturdy case to help keep everything organized and together. The wrenches and socket sets are very strong and perfect for my purpose. I really like how easy it is to read the sizes on the tools themselves and the case. Only downfall is there is no handle to carry around the tools, however the compact/light case is pretty easy to safely/easily carry around.

I really like this set, but I’ll start by saying that it is just a basic set of sockets and wrenches, but you get a lot of them for your money. Most homeowners should be able to accomplish most tasks with this kit, if you’re planning on working on cars and stuff like that, you probably already know that you’ll need a bigger kit than this. With that said, this is a really nice set of tools, the quality seems really good, they don’t feel cheap like other sets I’ve tried, I think they will hold up really well for the projects that I will use them for, they also have a really nice chrome finish.In this kit you get 1 3/8′ ratchet, an adapter to convert to 1/4′, an extension bar, 10 3/8′ standard universal sockets, 10 1/4′ standard universal sockets, and 10 standard universal combination wrenches, plus a nice hard case to keep them protected and from getting lost in a toolbox somewhere.One of the best features of this kit is that the tools are universal, which means that they will work on 6-point, 12-point, square, E-Torx, Spline, and rounded hex fasteners so you don’t need to have a different set of each type.Another great thing is that they are backed by Husky’s Lifetime Guarantee, where if a tool breaks, you just bring it back and get a new one, which essentially means, that unless you need a bigger set with more sizes to choose from, this is the last set you will ever have to buy.

Really good set for the money- ratchet wrench is much better than the round ones often seen in less expensive sets. downsides- no spark plug sockets??? and would be nice to have a 1/4 drive ratchet, too- but that s probably too much to ask for. Case is heavy duty.

This was exactly what I needed. It has everything you need for do it yourselfers. Good quality and a good value! The only downside is the case does not hold everything in place and when opened if not careful, the pieces fall out.

This is a nice tool set with a decent range of sockets and wrenches. It includes a 3/8 ratchet that works well. In order to use the 1/4 sockets, you use the 3/8-1/4 adapter that is included. The sockets and wrenches are all nice construction. The sockets are generally OK to read the sizes. The case is nice and locks closed well, but it would be nice to have a handle on the case (though it is small enough that a handle is not necessary). The set is a good size for home and travel and smaller automotive jobs (the sockets go up to 3/4 inch and wrenches up to 9/16). It’s nice not having to lug around a huge toolbox in order to have the tools you need for most jobs.
