Record or stream Full HD (1920 x 1080) video at 30 fps or HD 720 video at up to 60 fps with bright, natural colors and dual mic stereo audio using the HyperCam HD from HYPER. Compatible with Windows, Mac, Xbox One, Chrome, and Android, the HyperCam features an all-glass lens with autofocus, light correction, and viewing angles of 78°. This camera may also be adjusted up to 170° for a more suitable viewing position and connects to your host system using a 6′ USB 2.0 Type-A cable.

I was tired of having to use hold my cellphone as my videocamera for Zoom or FB calls. This HyperCam is so much easier. Its plug-and-play setup took only minutes. The images are sharp and the sound quality is fine for me. I’m not a videographer, but for the average user like me the quality is good. I like being able to choose the placement, from hanging on the edge of my monitor to sitting in my desktop or even handholding it.

The picture is very clear compared to the cameras on my 2 PCs and the microphone also has better audio. I did a comparison by setting up a Microsoft Teams video meeting and then switch from PC camera and microphone to the Hyper. There really was no setup required as Windows 10 recognized it immediately and I was able to select it or the PC camera inside the Teams settings. It does sit on top my 27 inch display and my PC, but it sort of balances there as there is no secure clamp that locks it in place. But this is a minor concern and didn’t inhibit my use. It just may fall if I bump it off or try to use the PC in my lap.

This is an inexpensive simple camera which was automatically recognized by my Windows 10 machine. The visual quality is perfectly acceptable for Zoom, but there aren’t any controls (hardware or software) to customize its look. I can’t comment on the microphone as I don’t use it. Overall, a decent value for its low price.

Very good for the price. It teeters on to of the monitor, but a piece of Velcro fixed that. The picture is good and on Windows 10 set up instantly, which is always a bonus.
