Expand the capabilities of your iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air with the HyperDrive BAR 6-in-1 USB Type-C Hub from Hyper. This slim space gray-colored aluminum hub is designed to complement the look of your iPad Pro and MacBook. Connecting the HyperDrive BAR to your computer’s USB Type-C port adds six ports to your system. No additional power adapters are required. This hub includes two USB 3.0 Type-A connectors for attaching accessories such as external storage drives, keyboards, and mice. The hub also includes both a microSD and SD memory card reader in addition to an HDMI port for connecting a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution monitor, television, or other external display. The USB Type-C power pass-through port will keep your connected USB Type-C system charged, so you don’t have to worry about draining your battery while all the different devices are connected.
Note that the hub does not support Apple SuperDrive and that the USB Type-A ports do not have sufficient power to charge iPads.

When my new MBP 13 M1 is downstairs and away from my OWC hub, I nevertheless often want to import raw image files onto it. In addition to the T4 and USB3 ports, this thing has a high-speed SD card slot and the speed of import has to be seen to be believed. I haven’t used the HDMI output yet, though if I wanted to give a slide show on my large Samsung TV, it will get its chance.
