It’s lightweight, and strong enough for my daily laptop usage. I use a heavier-and-thicker-than-most-modern-laptops Lenovo ideapad Y410P, if that helps anyone. I don’t take out my computer much, so I can’t comment on how well this stand holds up with frequent folding and setup. It comes with its own protective sleeve, and extra little plastic feet (?) where the laptop rests for thicker laptops, which I use. Because it’s made of aluminum, I’m generally careful how I move the stand with the weight of the laptop on it. I’m sure it could take more stress than how I’m handling it. I just don’t want to take any chances. All in all, I’m quite satisfied with this product, especially for its price point. It suits my needs to have an elevated view of my screen. The heat generated by a powerful laptop can have negative impact on speed and lifespan of electronics. This HYPER stand is built from Aluminum and the build quality is great! it folds flat and comes with a nice pouch to keep when traveling with your laptop. The elevation is adjustable and the quality of the build keep the locks in place to securely hold the laptop while using the keypad for typing. This stand does not disappoint.
