This little globe really exceeded my expectations. Such a great price for a really well made piece. This is for a decorative shelf in the sitting area of the master bedroom which has an “old world map” decor mixed with casual, contemporary furnishings. I’m delighted with the details on this little globe and how much it adds to the room. It’s small but really attractive. My husband wants to steal it for his den.

The globe itself is acceptable but the stand is awful. It looks like thin metal of some kind with a chrome plating. Could not decide whether or not to keep it; finally decided to keep it. Put it at the back on my book shelf with other items partially blocking it from view.
