Great pan for cooking rice, eggs and many other foods. This pan is well made and the handles are well attached. The large cooking surface allows for you to cook more that one thing in the pan. I love the way it cooked my rice. It cooked it fully and gave it a little crispyness to the outside. Works great with a large family due to the size of the pan. Very glad I have this in my kitchen.

First item of note for the IMUSA Aluminized Carbon Steel 15-in. Paella Pan is that part of its name – Aluminum. This will not stand up to torture or higher tempurature cooking, so please keep that in mind. It did do a great job of cooking a pile of bacon in a pinch, although I doubt it was designed for that use. The aluminum design makes it surprisingly light for a pan of its breadth, but it also makes it less durable than a cast iron skillet.The finish is very nice, and the pan cleaned up well. I look forward to using it again.

The Imusa Aluminized Carbon Steel 15-in. Paella Pan, is one of those pans I bought to make a family size dinner with a great presentation at the same time. At 15 inches wide and 2 inches deep there is more than enough cooking surface to make all of your dishes. The only negative I give to the pan is the thin bottom, but this is easily compensated by cooking on a lower flame. But it is definitely a great pan for the price.

I love the look of this pan. It makes a stellar presentation. Everyone at the table was impressed. You just have to note that this pan cannot be used for everything. It is not made for high heat. I have a semi professional gas range that puts out some serious BTU’s. A medium setting would burn this pan up. So start on low and work your way up. It is perfect for any foods that can get done by simmering or lower heat [like rice etc,] If you need to brown or blacken some ingredients to mix in, use another type of pan. Properly used cleaning this pan is easy. For the price you are not going to beat the style and presentation of this pan. And sometimes that is what it is all about.
