This is a great wok for the money. It’s extremely durable and makes cooking stir fry meals easy. Clean up is very easy, and because of it’s pre-seasoned coating, food washes right off with little to no scrubbing necessary. The stainless steel handle does get hot while cooking so an oven mitt will need to be used. I can see more uses for this wok other than just stir fries!

This wok is well made ( made in China ) and has a big thick handle for easy griping .The handle is riveted to the wok. I would say it’s heavy duty. It’s pre seasoned so you don’t have to break it in. The wider part of the wok is 13 inches in diameter and bottom is about 7 inches in diameter. It works great on gas and electric ranges. Even heat and cooks a variety of foods. It does have some weight to it and it’s not cheaply made. Great addition to our cook wear. We are still experimenting with different things to cook.

We recently decided to switch our pans to lightweight cast iron and found this wok ON HD for less than other sites. It comes pre-seasoned and ready to use and so far we have used it at least 10 times and it cooks and heats beautifully. We tried everything from vegetables to fish to meats and it cooks nicely and quickly and clean up is easy and fast. We clean it right after we finished using it and use hot soapy water with a steel brush pad and like to put a few drops of oil on a paper towel wipe the interior and put away. Well made and no coatings to worry about and should last a very long time.

The 14 inch wok made by Imusa is well made. It truly is lightweight for cast iron making it easier to handle. It is also pre-seasoned, 100% oven safe so it can be used for sauteing, searing, frying and even baking. This wok can get used on all cooking surfaces – gas stoves, electric stoves, oven, induction, campfire and on the grill if it will fit. Be sure and read the care instructions on the back.

If you have purchased a wok from this company before and we disappointed, do not fear! This product has been greatly improved and is well worth the money. It cooks evenly, looks nice, and cleans up nicely. It also holds up well to lots of use. This is more one of the “go to” items in our heavily used kitchen. We might have to add another one to our rack! But it! You will NOT be disappointed.

I absolutely love this wok. It’s much lighter than typical cast iron, but works just as great as the traditional cast iron. You can use metal utensil without worry damage as long you not abuse it. I would definitely recommend this to those who love cast iron cookware with lighter weight. I also own both 9.5″ and 11″ light cast iron.skillets. These are my favorite. My hope the company will also make the light cast iron Takoyaki pan and Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Rectangular Pan. I am looking forward to buy them if they are available.

A VERY nice light weight cast iron wok. The advantage of the light weight cast iron is it sits flat on a glass top stove, and doesn’t warp like carbon steel woks. The wok comes pre-seasoned which results in a fairly nonstick surface when supplemented with a bit of oil. Highly recommend!
