I purchased this product for my daughter. It is sturdy and as represented on line. It arrived at Home Depot very quickly. She also purchased a similar product from a kitchen-type store that took much longer to arrive. The only real difference was the other product has a longer pestle. I have not used the either product, so I’d say it’s a matter of personal preference. But this mortar and pestle seems fine and shipped (to store for free in my case) if you need to get one fast.

This product deserve a A grade in quality the unique 2 joined ball pestle is just right in the hand making “ulek” (javanese=grinding) movement so ergonomically comfortable just like the original “ulekan” (the mortal and pestle used in Java).
