   We got this pot for it’s large capacity as a streamer/cooking pot, for large-batch, make ahead meals. Now a note here, it’s large and wide at the base, and my stove top can handle a 14 in pan with it’s tapper side to a smaller base OK, but this is to big for the electric glass cooktop. I myself planned it’s use for my gas side burner or a also have a portable burner which does not have the size limit. You should check your cooktops user manual for the safe size that can be use, just a note. It has a removable steamer insert and tempered glass lid with vent, “Stay-cool bakelite” handles and knob, Aluminum construction and a 24-Quart (6 gals) capacity. In all a well made pot, lite weight construction and a great addition for any kitchen. So far we did three whole chickens, with all the veggie’s streamed and then added water and finally noodles for home made soup we freeze in meal size storage containers.

   I bought this stockpot for my cooking during the holiday season. It works as I expected and still had plenty of room for more food. My only dislike I have about it is the smell it puts out when it sits over a flame. Its hard to describe. It’s not pleasant but it won’t change the taste of your food.

   Aluminum 24 Qt. Tamale and Seafood Steamer by IMUSAWhen Home Depot offered this tamale and seafood steamer I knew it had to be an addition to my kitchen. I promptly ordered it. It was well shipped and arrived in good order.IMUSA steamers are large capacity and durable; perfect for large-batch foods such as tamales, lobster, mussels, and corn on the cob! They are all aluminum, which means DO NOT put them in the dishwasher. They will be damaged. These must be hand washed. The steamer is excellently made, with the removable grate inside the pot. Glass top rounds off the steamer with a vent hole to prevent boil over, from pressure.I recommend these. I rate them 5*s out of 5.Thank you Home Depot for offering these.

   Sizing was not as large as I wanted. It is a good size but no enough for my crabs! The nice Feature is the lid is see through. Overall this is a nice pot for the price.

   This twenty four quart steamer is nice for family gatherings. The handles remain cool to the touch and it comes with insert to allow for steaming of vegetables keeping them off bottom of pot. It is nice for boiling shrimp, crawfish, lobster, clams, crabs, corn on the cob and potatoes. It is aluminum and has a tempered glass lid with steam vent hole and handle.
