I had a hard time finding the correct profile for this paper and then I still found that the prints were a little flat and dark. Nonetheless, this paper has a thick texture that added some definition to my fine art projects. I wouldn’t use this paper for every print but its good if your printing something abstract or even painterly.

As a professional photographer I also do my own printing, mattes and frames. Its important to me have the right quality of photo paper;as of now I use ten different types of paper;many by Inkpress Media. The Linen Matte is an important paper for me to have,as its acid free, with no OBAs or Lignins. In addition is its wonderful texture that remanence of a canvas used in paintings.I use the paper for my landscapes, architecture and fine art.Another quality is it thickness,as the thicker the paper the better as prevents curling ,absorbs dye better , and is more stable when being mounted and framed.

These are thin matte cards. Colors look dull. Very thin paper is wet once out. Also bends while still wet

Nice texture, great reproduction of colors. However 10 mill too thin for card stock. I would love it in thicker stock.

I wasn’t sure I would like this, as I feared it would be like fake fabric texture. But of the several types of photo paper I have on hand, I find I reach for this one most often, both because the colors seem to come out true without a lot of adjustment, and the nice quality and weight it provides. I use this paper to print photo cards for friends, printing 4 to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet. Cut in half with paper cutter, each half folded in half, makes a very respectable card. I send these inside semi-transparent vellum envelopes. The photos show through the vellum just enough to make what I think is a pretty special mailing. Best to use a Sharpie (fine point) for addressing, so it shows up over the muted photo.

I got it to replace the Inkpress Watercolor Rag that was discontinued. Same weight with a brightness of 99% vs 95, the texture is a bit finer but still gives the watercolor look. It’s also is a little thiner, 10 Mil vs 15 for the old Watercolor Rag, which in turn makes it easy to feed in my Canon PRO 100 even when placing multiple sheets in the tray. The color rendition is very good. It will be my new go to paper.
