This 20-sheet pack of 11 x 14″ Luster Paper from Inkpress Media features resin-coated microporous paper with a luster surface finish. This paper has a basis weight of 240 gsm and a thickness of 10.4 mil as well as a 95% brightness. Additionally, the paper is water and light resistant for durability and instant drying for immediate handling.

First off, I prefer luster paper but most people like the look of glossy. I like the finish and color of the photos and especially B & W shots. To me it’s a cross between Glossy & Matte paper which gives you the best of both worlds.

I do wedding and portrait photography and use this paper to print wedding photos for use at bridal fairs. Mounted on foam board, without frames, these photos really stand out and get the most attention at these events. The vibrant colors and smooth surface are great. Left unframed in my bright sunroom/porch for over 9 months, the photos show no signs of fading. This is not recommended, but it is used as my test. You would not believe how quickly some other papers fade.

I have been using inkpress papers now for 5 years or so. I find them to be equal with the name brand papers that are out there. The color profiles are accurate and the colors reproduce flawlessly. I usually buy the larger qty size to save cost and to always have paper on hand when a big job rolls in

I wanted to try this paper since it is one of only a few that comes in 17×25 inch sheets. I was able to print 5 selected files of various color ranges & compare to my usual paper selections. Using the Inkpress profile I got prints remarkably accurate & sharp for a luster paper & comparable or better than Epson Ultra Premium Luster. Just for fun I tried the Inkpress profile with Epson Ultra Premium luster paper. Results were actually slightly better than when using Epson’s profile, which makes me wonder if the two papers are manufactured in the same place.

This paper would be a great alternative to all the glossy stuff out there….if it were just a bit thicker/heavier. I like the finish and texture better than Epson Premium Glossy 4×6, but the Epson feels sturdier and more likely to pass the test of time and hands.

I am a photography student and bought this paper to use for my undergraduate senior thesis show. I am printing a range of subjects from landscapes/other nature shots to city shots and portraits, so far everything has looked great! Good saturation with the Epson 3880, minimal-no loss of detail in highlights and shadows. I love the luster finish over a glossier finish it gives all of my images a smooth saturated look without becoming over-saturated. One note (this may mostly have to do with the printer profile settings) my images have tended to print warmer with the Inkpress luster than with some other papers I’ve used with this printer, but I can easily adjust my image to make sure it comes out exactly as I want.

I can’t believe how well this paper works with my inkjet. It looks like a went to a photo lab. Photos look amazing on it and it really doesn’t smear (just be sure to use the correct side.) The price cannot be beat either. Highly recommend.

Very nice photo printing paper for inkjet printers. Like the Epson 1400 and R300. Overall outstanding colors and black or white are sharp too! It brings out the detail and sharpness in the photo too!

Similar to Epson premium luster paper. Especially good for proofing photos; no logo on back of paper, which I like. (you do have to pay attention to which is the printable side). Did not try manufacturers icc profile, made custom one, and happy with the results.
