This 50-sheet pack of 11 x 14″ Luster Paper from Inkpress Media features resin-coated microporous paper with a luster surface finish. This paper has a basis weight of 240 gsm and a thickness of 10.4 mil as well as a 95% brightness. Additionally, the paper is water and light resistant for durability and instant drying for immediate handling.

B&H sold me on this paper…… Now this is the only paper that I use. Inkpress makes just about anything you need. Great stuff.

I print my work with an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 and wanted to try the Inkpress Luster Paper as an alternative to the more expensive Epson Luster Paper which I had been using. After downloading the correct ICC profile for my printer from the Inkpress site, I knew immediately after the first print a black and white with deep, rich blacks that Inkpress was not in the same league as Epson’s paper. When comparing side by side, the Inkpress paper could not maintain any luster in the dark shadows, leaving pockets of dull finish sprinkled throughout my photograph. The gradients are also not nearly as smooth as the Epson paper. Totally unacceptable. Since B&H will not accept returns for consumables a policy I think should be reconsidered I’m stuck with junk paper and a bad taste in my mouth for B&H. Needless to say, I’ve learned my lesson for both: only use Epson paper for my printer and find a more consumer-friendly supplier for my paper.

This paper is true to a calibrated monitor. I use it for both color and black and white and find it to be true to what I see on the monitor. I print for end use and show prints on a Epson 1430 and it has been right on.

Been using this paper just so I have a printed version of the images I’m working on currently. Using an Epson XP-960 (dye inks) with Photoshop and the printer’s Premium Luster profile I have gotten decent results. I tried using Inkpress’s profiles but never got great results with them. Wish the paper had some more heft to it but on the plus side it can be loaded into a printers autoload tray and not get stuck.
