I use this paper to proof and I’ve actually started to use it to show portfolio worth prints on. It’s a nice Luster paper, holds blacks well and is cost efficient. Definitely worth it if you’re just going to replace prints throughout the year because of how they get handled by photo editors, art directors, etc. Only downside is that it was a bit lighter/thinner than I thought but they still work great in a book!

Great paper at a fantastic price. Can’t tell the difference from Epson paper.

Very nice photo printing paper for inkjet printers. Like the Epson 1400 and R300. Overall outstanding colors and black or white are sharp too! It brings out the detail and sharpness in the photo too!

Inkpress Luster provides a wide range from shadows to highlights and good color saturation at a low price per sheet. I’ve used it for more than a year now and exhibit prints made on it. It’s a good value.

My primary purpose for buying this paper is as something to print nice family photos on. Color accuracy, reproduction of tones, etc are all somewhat secondary to value. In that respect, this is a good paper and a great value. I would, though, also like to print ou the occasional project – the images I am proudest of as art; typically B&W. One think that drew me to this paper is its availability in traditional photographic paper sizes. I realize that’s not really a reason to buy, but it was a bonus. Unfortunatley, this paper has yet to deliver in this area. I’ve been using it for a while and always thought of the images I produced on it as average. Admitedly, that could be the photographer. In any case, tought I tried a test – printing a couple of stress test images (from the Northlight Images web site) on several papers: Intrada Rag paper, Ilford’s specialty B&W paper and Inkpress. Admittedly, all of these are in a completely different category The Ilford performed the best – showing excellent detail and linearity. The tones are neutral and the pictures pop. The Intrada Rag was flat (kind of expected with a matte surface) and blocked up shadows earlier than the ilford. The linearity was good and the tone neutral. The Inkpress paper, though, had a clear breakdown in linearity. The bullseye targets on the test images showed clear banding. In addition, the tonality was some what off – there was an olive cast to the print. In some repects, this was similar to Ilford Warm Tone B&W silver print paper – not entirely objectionable, but I prefer a neutral paper. On the up side, the Inkpress paper showed shadow detail almost as well as the Ilford Mono. Now, this could all be the fault of the profile – and I suppose I could make a custom profile. I am still disappointed in the performance when compared to other papers; each with their maker provided profiles. So, on value I give it 5 stars, on image quality, 3. Average 4.

I have been using inkpress papers now for 5 years or so. I find them to be equal with the name brand papers that are out there. The color profiles are accurate and the colors reproduce flawlessly. I usually buy the larger qty size to save cost and to always have paper on hand when a big job rolls in

I’ve used Inkpress Paper many times in the past, and find it to be as good or better than most paper. Although I truly love Ilford paper, Inkpress is my second choice. The product Inkpress produces is an excellent product at a great price.

I print for customers after every shoot. Its a solid paper. i wish it came in 8 x 10 size in the 50 and 250 pack. I have to create a separate 8.5 x 11 in the PRINT setup for the Epson 2200 print menu for this size paper. –the plastic sheath that the paper is in inside the box sometimes sticks to the paper when i take it out so a better non-attracting material would be better.
