lovely quality paper. Not too glossy, not too thick, not too heavy, won’t bend easily. Just right. Using it for my photography class and I can see why my teacher told us to get it. Sidenote: Inkpress and Inkpress Media are the same thing. I suppose the company that makes this paper just changed their name and logo recently, so just letting you know so there’s no confusion.

Bought this paper when we could not find any precut 5×7 luster sheets from other companies. It nicely matched the profiles we had for Epson Premium Luster and produced very nice prints.

I print my work with an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 and wanted to try the Inkpress Luster Paper as an alternative to the more expensive Epson Luster Paper which I had been using. After downloading the correct ICC profile for my printer from the Inkpress site, I knew immediately after the first print a black and white with deep, rich blacks that Inkpress was not in the same league as Epson’s paper. When comparing side by side, the Inkpress paper could not maintain any luster in the dark shadows, leaving pockets of dull finish sprinkled throughout my photograph. The gradients are also not nearly as smooth as the Epson paper. Totally unacceptable. Since B&H will not accept returns for consumables a policy I think should be reconsidered I’m stuck with junk paper and a bad taste in my mouth for B&H. Needless to say, I’ve learned my lesson for both: only use Epson paper for my printer and find a more consumer-friendly supplier for my paper.

I have been using Inkpress papers for quite awhile now. I’m especially fond of the luster, both one-sided and double-sided. The finish on this paper is so smooth and rich that I almost never use glossy anymore. The 8×10 size and the luster surface is perfect for promotional work! I highly recommend this product…

This luster – glossy paper was suggested by a Canon technical lady for the Canon Pixma Pro 9500 MkII, since most glossy paper does not work well with pigment inks as used with the 9500. I get bright, quality prints with it. Good recommendation.

Particularly for the price point, this paper is as good as any other luster paper. Theory has it that almost all luster papers come from the same Mitsubishi plant and are just rebranded, sometimes with a much higher price point.

Inkpress Luster is my favorite for portraits.

I have been using Inkpress Photo Luster paper for 4 years and it hasn’t disappointed me. Compare to the other guys out there, not only do our commercial photo print beautifully on it, but it doesn’t fade over time, like the other guys. As much as I buy, my only complaint is that I wish it costs less. But again, you get what you pay for.

I use the paper as proofs. I can use a cheaper one, but, this offeres a better presentation.

bought the 50 sheets 8×10 size. Somehow this is about 1 mm longer than Canon 8×10 paper. So all my prints have a small white line at the end 🙁 Didn’t have that problem with Canon papers.

Been using this product in all sizes for 7 years now. CAN’T BEAT IT! Works great with refillable ink cartriges too! High quality w/professional results at low consumer prices. Have turned several friends on to it w/no complaints.

This is really nice paper. I used a Brother 11×17 inkjet. I don’t usually get great photo quality out of the printer, but this paper is a big improvement! It’s outstanding! I will purchase this again!

I’ve been using this paper for a year now in my Epson R1800 and love it. I have two exhibits a year and makes my photos look even better.

This is a good luster paper. I enter photo competitions and I find it almost as good as the Epson Luster papers. I would not recommend the Inkpress color profiles since they tend to make the colors appear muted. When I used the Epson luster profile for my 3880, the prints appear vibrant.

Last summer, I had quite a bit of problems with this paper laying flat because of the humidity. I had been using it for about 5 years. This past shipment (February, 2022), I’m still having problems with it. Every time I put it through my Epson, I get ink on a corner (with other papers and sizes, I don’t). I think it’s about time to move on.

Does what it needs to and looks great

Inkpress Luster is the best photo paper I’ve found for portraits. It’s also excellent for other types of images that don’t require a high-high or metallic gloss. (For that, I splurge on Inkpress Metallic Gloss.) The paper also dries almost immediately.

When I saw this surface on this paper and on the Canon Premium Luster I kind of skrinched up my mouth like that lil gymnast, and thought ‘ehhh, I am not so sure I am gonna like this paper. Which was bad, cause I was into it for about 100 sheets. Turns out I was wrong. I like this surface now more than either gloss or matte. It just really catches the light and complements a good color or composition as well as lending SUCH AN EXTREME level of professional look and feel to your photos. This might be one of the best papers I have used. I will get another 100 sheets to have on hand.

This paper is very susceptible to humidity. This will cause the paper to buckle and pick up ink smear from the printer.
