My primary purpose for buying this paper is as something to print nice family photos on. Color accuracy, reproduction of tones, etc are all somewhat secondary to value. In that respect, this is a good paper and a great value. I would, though, also like to print ou the occasional project – the images I am proudest of as art; typically B&W. One think that drew me to this paper is its availability in traditional photographic paper sizes. I realize that’s not really a reason to buy, but it was a bonus. Unfortunatley, this paper has yet to deliver in this area. I’ve been using it for a while and always thought of the images I produced on it as average. Admitedly, that could be the photographer. In any case, tought I tried a test – printing a couple of stress test images (from the Northlight Images web site) on several papers: Intrada Rag paper, Ilford’s specialty B&W paper and Inkpress. Admittedly, all of these are in a completely different category The Ilford performed the best – showing excellent detail and linearity. The tones are neutral and the pictures pop. The Intrada Rag was flat (kind of expected with a matte surface) and blocked up shadows earlier than the ilford. The linearity was good and the tone neutral. The Inkpress paper, though, had a clear breakdown in linearity. The bullseye targets on the test images showed clear banding. In addition, the tonality was some what off – there was an olive cast to the print. In some repects, this was similar to Ilford Warm Tone B&W silver print paper – not entirely objectionable, but I prefer a neutral paper. On the up side, the Inkpress paper showed shadow detail almost as well as the Ilford Mono. Now, this could all be the fault of the profile – and I suppose I could make a custom profile. I am still disappointed in the performance when compared to other papers; each with their maker provided profiles. So, on value I give it 5 stars, on image quality, 3. Average 4.

I have been using Inkpress Photo Chrome RC Luster paper with my Epson R320 printer for 3 years now, and the results are amazing! The textured finish is even across the surface like a true photolab print, negating the need for a gloss finish cartridge feature on your printer. Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and detail is very good. I pimarily use the 4×6 paper, but have also used the 8.5×11 and 13×19 papers with equally pleasing results. The paper is sturdy, and I have not had any problems with warping or curling. If you are mounting your print with adhesive, the finish will damage (just like a regular photograph)if you get some on the front of the print, but I am otherwise hard-pressed to find fault with this product.

I needed a 5×7 ink jet photo paper and Epson does not make a semi gloss which was what I wanted. I called B&H and this was what they recommended. Great recommendation. Very happy with output.

I have been using inkpress papers now for 5 years or so. I find them to be equal with the name brand papers that are out there. The color profiles are accurate and the colors reproduce flawlessly. I usually buy the larger qty size to save cost and to always have paper on hand when a big job rolls in

This Luster finished paper gives an outstanding look to my bird photos! I had been using a matte finish, but this really shows off the color and the contrast of the images! I use this on an Epson R1800 printer.

The color reproduction on this paper is fantastic. Theluster has a slightly different grain and feel than what i’mused to (from the print shops i used to go to for my prints) butis still great. Really some very good paper and i wouldhighly recommend it. Problems Encountered: The only issue is that you can’t compare this paper toanything else of this caliber. It is significantly betterthan most other 4×6 paper, but then, Epson for example, doesn’t make an ultra premium luster version of its 4x6paper so like i said, it’s hard to compare its quality toother similar quality paper. I just took a print identicalto what the store did for me and found that this paper’scolor rendition was better. Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Kodak 4×6 glossy

Good paper – nice results on Canon PRO1000 using Canon profiles as specified. Would be nice if it were offered in a heavier weight as well

i used it to make prints to go into my portfolio. I really liked the way that it looked on the paper. Everything turned out as i expected it to, nothing odd happened with the colors, it was great. It even arrived at my home faster than i thought it would, and that made my life easier, to be able to get my project finished sooner than expected.

I’m NOT looking for super quality prints to hand in the Museum so I’m ok with this type of quality but don’t think me wrong, I use this for my wedding clients and print out super nice for the price. Prints came out great with using Epson 3880. Haven’t test it out for how long it will last, I’ll write some review after one or two year later.

This images on this paper are consistently beautiful. The colors are great. Especially good for enlargements of close up photos of flowers and butterflies. And if the prints are going to be handled by friends or family, this paper resists fingerprints much better than glossy paper
Verna Ward (verified owner) –
This is terribly thin paper and it smears the black inks making the proofs unusable. Not recommended. I used this with my Epson P 700, which is an excellent printer with any other paper.
