This 30-sheet pack of 8.5 x 11″ Luster Paper from Inkpress Media features resin-coated microporous paper with a luster surface finish. This paper has a basis weight of 240 gsm and a thickness of 10.4 mil as well as a 95% brightness. Additionally, the paper is water and light resistant for durability and instant drying for immediate handling.

I used to use Inkpress only for test printing but the quality is now so good I use it for high quality/archival work. At 40 percent less than similar papers by other manufacturers Inkpress is quite a bargain. Jon Naar, professional photographer since 1964.

Of course, ordering 20 sheets of paper and 1 cartridge of ink doesn’t add up to a big deal BUT They were, in fact, lifesavers for a special printing for a client in Europe. The ink enabled me to keep my trusty Epson Stylus Pro 3800 (bought at B&H 3 years ago) running without a hitch and the Inkpress Photo Chrome Luster Paper gave me — and my client — outstanding museum-quality. Buying this paper was a spur of the moment thing….normally I use the Epson Luster. The Inkpress paper was used for proofing, event photography. I have to say I was more impressed with the outcome then I thought I would be. The paper has more of a Matte surface, then the Epson Luster, which was an unexpected bonus. I use an Epson R2400, and the paper handled really well, with no cockling on a heavy ink load. The output colors were really nice too.

Using this paper with the Canon Pixma Pro MarkII- getting terrific results. Brilliant and accurate color that jumps off the paper. First time use on both printer and paper and without calibration. Dumb luck or great products. My opinion: GREAT PRODUCTS Very happy with retailer as well.

Great stuff! I compare this to Epson and it’s every bit as good as the Epson paper, but for less money! I’ll never go back to Epson as long as this stuff is around.

I use this paper to proof and I’ve actually started to use it to show portfolio worth prints on. It’s a nice Luster paper, holds blacks well and is cost efficient. Definitely worth it if you’re just going to replace prints throughout the year because of how they get handled by photo editors, art directors, etc. Only downside is that it was a bit lighter/thinner than I thought but they still work great in a book!

I’m NOT looking for super quality prints to hand in the Museum so I’m ok with this type of quality but don’t think me wrong, I use this for my wedding clients and print out super nice for the price. Prints came out great with using Epson 3880. Haven’t test it out for how long it will last, I’ll write some review after one or two year later.
