The best buy in Matte paper.

This paper is not for you if you have dark images to print.

We use this paper for our photos we take on our travels and we have never been disappointed in the quality of the image once printed. The double sided feature allows us to use both sides.

Very pleased with Duo-Matt 80 paper. Good colors and price is good.
Amari Jacobi (verified owner) –
This is much better paper that prints much nicer than the equivalent Epson double-sided paper (Premium presentation paper MATTE). The shadow detail is significantly cleaner and the colors are more vivid. An altogether superior product, when used with the correct ICC profiles. Other than being a bit more expensive than the Epson, no real cons.

The paper is reasonable priced and fit’s my wide format printed. Good quality stock. I’m always happy with the purchase experiences I’ve had from B&H.

I have used this product only a few times so far in tests. So far I am impressed. At this time, the product is a needed compliment to the rest of my papers which are glossy. It remains to be seen how the pictures are received by others, but so far the results are promising.

Just purchased the product recently. A great economical replacement for Epson Enhanced matte. No problems with color management whatsoever.

Have ordered this before and I have some clients who love the results. If your a macro detailed photographer, I wouldn’t purchase it for the grain will hide the detail.

I’ve had a few requests from friends to turn some of my photos into greeting cards. I’ve tried a few different brands and types of paper and find the Inkpress Media Duo Matte to produce the best combination of color, weight and ease of printing on a Canon Pro 100 printer. Having both sides a bright white helps when you want an images on the inside as well as the front of a card. I usually trim the cards down so that they are 5×7; that way, recipients can put them into 5×7 photo frames after they’re read the greeting.

Very pleased with the Duo-Matt 80 paper.

This paper has a very hard silky smooth surface, which is my preference in a matte paper. If you want texture, look elsewhere. This paper is double-sided, which makes it ideal for greeting cards. I use the 8×10 for 4 1/2 by 6 1/4 greeting cards, and the larger 8 1/2 by 11 inch, for 5 x 7 greeting cards. Excellent printing results on both of my Epson printers — The surprisingly good Artisan 50, and my Pro 3880. For greeting cards, however, the Artisan 50 works great. In addition to my own original photos, I do a lot of scans out of books and magazines with the superb Epson V750 Pro scanner on descreening mode. The scan results are excellent, and then I can make any adjustments and improvements I want in Photoshop, then print on this fine matte paper with very good results, and it’s very economical. I just wish they made this paper in 220 or 230 gsm weight, rather than 200, but that’s not a deal breaker, especially when making the 4 1/2 by 6 1/4 greeting cards. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. And if you don’t get great results, buy the Epson Artisan 50 printer, which has amazing quality for its bargain price.

Been using Matte 80 for many years. It is versatile, tough, and gives wonderful bright printing results.

Great for printing out HD scrapbook pages. 12×12 … and if you mess up just print on the other side… its coated on both sides… love!!!!

This is great for any use that needs two-sided printing, such as calendars, portfolios, greeting cards, etc. The print quality is excellent, better than Epson Premium Presentation Paper MATTE Double-Sided, in my opinion. Only issue I have is my Epson Photo Stylus R3000 didn’t like to feed from the vertical paper feed. Had to use the front feed, which is a little bit slower. Still, I highly recommend this paper.

This, and especially the Inkpress warmtone 100% rag, for machine printing .. are as close you are likely to get to Fiber based darkroom paper. Although I’ve still got to use the Baryta papers that are available. Essentially a double weight paper that is clean and well worth the $ for a 50 sheet box.

I ran 90copies of the same print for a brochure – with extreme success from an epsonR1800. Inkpress.com suggested using the printer profile for it’s ultra premium matte paper but this paper performed admirably at 600dpi regular matte. My printer could only take the paper one sheet at time or it would get confused (its a consumer model, don’t know if its the case for more advanced printers). I did perform test strips using different print rendering intentions that I compared against using a color control system. The most accurate was epson’s standard without black point compensation. This paper is as accurate as epson’s single sided matte at 1/3 of the price.

The Inkpress Duo Matte 80 is one of the very few matte papers that is dual-sided with a hard very smooth surface. You can get it in the Hahnemuhle Natural Art Duo, but that’s an expensive paper in ivory color. This one is soft white. The Red River Polar Matte used to have a hard smooth surface like this, but the mill changed the formula and that paper is rougher now. In any case, this paper prints beautifully, at least on my Epson printers, and I mostly use it on my budget priced Epson Artisan 50 for printing greeting cards, either with my own photos or high quality scans from books and magazines, done with my Epson V750 Pro scanner. The results are actually exceptional. No complaints. The only problem is the 215 weight, which for me limits its uses to small prints and greeting cards. It’s especially good for 4 1/2 by 6 1/4 cards, and while the 5×7 greeting card works okay, it doesn’t have the desired heft of a 235, or best of all, the 256 weight of the Hahnemuhle. Still, at this price, I have to give it 5 stars. It’s just a great bargain that produces really fine printing results. Wish they’d make the same paper in a 240 weight. That would be the cat’s pajamas! By the way, I’ve never seen the new and improved sticker, and I just bought two boxes in September of 2013 in the 8×10 and 8 1/2 x 11 sizes. Same great paper. Finally, I don’t bother with profiles, as this paper works great with Epson’s Premium Presentation Matte selection. See my attached sample greeting card, a self portrait by Frida Kahlo scanned from a book.

I use this paper to make my own photo cards. The paper is heavy enough for me and renders very good color and details.

I purchased this for headshots so I can print my resume on the same paper rather than having to attach it with staples or tape. It prints excellently and serves the purpose and I prefer it to glossy as it doesn’t get affected by light conditions. Also, there was no ink smudging right after printing and for the past few weeks I haven’t had a single issue. Add this to the speedy delivery, intact shipment and helpful customer service prior to purchase and you’ve got yourself an excellent deal.
