This 50-sheet pack of 5 x 7″ Duo Matte 80 Paper from Inkpress Media features double-sided matte paper with a basis weight of 215 gsm. The paper also has a thickness of 12 mil and a brightness of 95%. The paper is acid and lignin free for longevity as well as water and light resistant. Additionally, it is instant drying for immediate handling.

This is a heavyweight, double sided inkjet paper. Not a glossy or semi gloss photo finish, but a great value for the cost. I use it for brochures and enlargements where perfect quality is not required.

I’ve had a few requests from friends to turn some of my photos into greeting cards. I’ve tried a few different brands and types of paper and find the Inkpress Media Duo Matte to produce the best combination of color, weight and ease of printing on a Canon Pro 100 printer. Having both sides a bright white helps when you want an images on the inside as well as the front of a card. I usually trim the cards down so that they are 5×7; that way, recipients can put them into 5×7 photo frames after they’re read the greeting.
