This paper is my ol’ reliable. I use it for mailers and small prints. It’s great. Printing with a Canon Pro-10.

For those times when I require a non resin coated paper but I still want the high resolution and color saturation of a resin coated paper, the Inkpress Duo Matte 80 is the paper I use. I have used a lot of this paper over the years and I can tell you that it’s not a fancy cotton watercolor paper nor does it try to mimic a traditional silver halide photo paper. It is however my go-to choice when I need a simple but versatile everyday matte surface paper. This Duo Matte 80 has a smooth and hard white surface that yields very little to dot gain and therefore allows for a very sharp image with little loss of resolution or color fidelity which is normally the claim to fame of resin coated glossy and luster papers. Also the weight of the Duo Matte is good and it can be printed on both sides. The price is also excellent which is important to note because competing companies are charging more for a nearly if not exactly identical product. Inkpress’ economics are a benefit to be taken advantage of. Download and use the appropriate color profile from the Inkpress website. Also, experiment with color profiles from other paper company’s websites because you might find that a different profile gives you results more pleasing to your own taste.

I was printing a photo with type over it to be used as thank you cards. I love that this is 12 pts thick. My epson Inkjet prints super clear on it. Very nice!

I’ve been using the Legion Moab Lasal paper for years, but recently it seems that it has become harder and harder to come by. So I needed to make a switch. After seeing a few reviews of this paper I decided to give it a try. I was a little disappointed as the paper is thinner than I’m used too but the the absorption of the paper is still quite good, no buckling. The colors are just as vibrant, there was no loss in detail.

Ink dries instantly, thick bright white matte paper, good both sides.

There is another recent review of this paper in a different size that stated that their box came with a New & Improved sticker on it and that the paper inside made some horrible prints. Definitely not the same paper they had used in the past. Well, I was skeptical of this claim and, boy, did I pay the price. This other reviewer was spot on. Not only did I have the same experience with my prints, but mine had the same sticker slapped on the box. The old version of the paper and this new version don’t even feel anything alike! And when I profiled the new paper and compared it against the old profile in a program that lets you view a 3d model of the color spaces, they were completely different. The only reason I’m not giving this paper one star is that it is actually better than some I’ve used before.

I’ve had a few requests from friends to turn some of my photos into greeting cards. I’ve tried a few different brands and types of paper and find the Inkpress Media Duo Matte to produce the best combination of color, weight and ease of printing on a Canon Pro 100 printer. Having both sides a bright white helps when you want an images on the inside as well as the front of a card. I usually trim the cards down so that they are 5×7; that way, recipients can put them into 5×7 photo frames after they’re read the greeting.

Price was good the weight was just right and the shipping was free. The surface was good. Depth and color are great esp for the price. First time I’ve used it. I’m on a budget and it works for me.

Good thickness, good matte finish

I was most disappointed to find that the finish on the back side of the paper is different than the front. The front side has a nice pebbly texture (subtle, but there) and the backside is very smooth and texture-less.

This paper works great for simple black and white quote prints. Have not tried printing full high quality prints on it. The think was is good and works well with the canon pro-100. Blacks look deep and stand out. White level is really good for what I need.

Very pleased with the Duo-Matt 80 paper.

The duo matte works well for making my own greeting cards as well as photos that lend themselves to matte paper. I have no problem printing on it with a Canon Pro 100 printer. The paper is fairly bright and neutral balanced making color balancing easy. For the price, it is one of my favorite papers.

Have ordered this before and I have some clients who love the results. If your a macro detailed photographer, I wouldn’t purchase it for the grain will hide the detail.
Arthur Schuppe (verified owner) –
Great for printing out HD scrapbook pages. 12×12 … and if you mess up just print on the other side… its coated on both sides… love!!!!

This is much better paper that prints much nicer than the equivalent Epson double-sided paper (Premium presentation paper MATTE). The shadow detail is significantly cleaner and the colors are more vivid. An altogether superior product, when used with the correct ICC profiles. Other than being a bit more expensive than the Epson, no real cons.
