A digital image is only as good as the paper it is printed on, and Innova is one of the premier lines of inkjet paper. The Innova FibaPrint Series of Photo Printing Papers aims to meet the demands of the fine-art photographer with highly critical tastes in printers, inks, and substrates. FibaPrint papers are designed to emulate traditional fine art light-sensitive fiber papers; its hand and tooth closely resemble the texture of traditional museum-grade prints. Innova papers are a truly archival, acid-free paper with a natural grade, and are precisely coated for inkjet printing. It is offered with a variety of surface textures between smooth and matte, as well as choices between a bright white and warm tone color base.

I got this paper just to try out for an assignment for class. There’s nothing wrong with it, but the paper really just seems like card stock. Nothing really special about it. I have an Epson Artisan 730 (understandably not the highest quality for a photo printer), and unless I have several pieces of the paper in there, the printer won’t pick it up.

I use this paper to print photo images for exhibition. The finish is just what I want; beautiful photos print beautifully. I wish there were a watermark on the back to make it easier to identify the print side but after a while choosing the correct side to print becomes second nature.

For a matte paper, it is not too bright. Though that is what you expect with matte. However you have a hard time figuring out which is the emulsion side.
