Build and customize your own compact computer system to fit your productivity, entertainment, retail business, and creative needs with the Intel NUC 11 Pro NUC11TNHi3 Kit. Featuring a tall form factor that includes a pre-punched bracket for serial and other I/O ports along with a 2.5″ drive bay, this compact desktop system includes a 1.9 GHz Intel Core i3-1115G4 dual-core processor with a 4.1 GHz boost speed and integrated UHD Graphics. The system also supports up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory across two SO-DIMM slots, and there are two M.2 solid-state drive slots available. Up to four displays can be connected to the NUC 11 Pro through its dual HDMI 2.0b ports, Thunderbolt 4 port, and Thunderbolt 3 port. Other features include a Gigabit Ethernet port and integrated 802.11ax Wi-Fi to connect to compatible high-speed networks. There also three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports that can transfer up to 10 Gb/s. For added flexibility, you can install either a Windows or Linux operating system on the NUC 11 Pro Kit.

I really like these NUCs for their versatility, compact size, and reasonable cost. Grab some RAM and an SSD and you’re good to go, no fussing with installing processors, fitting components in cases, or hooking up power supplies. I used this particular product as an ERP server for a small business, and have used other NUCs for applications like two-way radio dispatch consoles, audio recorders, and media servers. VESA mounting and rackmount kits available from third parties make it super versatile. I’m knocking off a single star for the lack of a dedicated audio input/output. Unfortunately the availability of quality speakers that work over USB without a 3.5mm connection is limited, so I’ve had to use an external DAC which adds cost and increases footprint. I can understand leaving it out of the short models, but I really wish one was included on the tall models. Otherwise, very happy with these machines.
