The 1TB 660P NVMe M.2 Internal SSD from Intel features QLC (Quad Level Cell) technology, which offers more capacity per NAND cell, enabling solid-state storage at more affordable price points. Moreover, it utilizes the PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 interface that has a higher bandwidth when compared to SATA for sequential read and write speeds of up to 1800 MB/s and 1800 MB/s respectively. With a M.2 2280 form factor, the Intel 660P SSD is compatible with a wide variety of notebooks, desktops, and mobile devices.

These 660p drives have a bad rap for being slow. Unless they are above 80% full they are still quite fast. I have this as a boot drive on my R7 3700x build. The PC was built with video encoding in mind and with drive is very fast.

Decent price and as the title says works as expected with my Dell laptop.

Easy to install. I needed to do a bios update. Cloned with Acronis. Now windows loads fast..

Excellent choice for a storage SSD. Three times as fast as a regular SSD, and a large storage unit. Buying this Intel M.2 SSD has allowed me to remove a large HD that blocked air flow in my desktop computer. I am very pleased with the additional storage and quick SSD response. Great price for a brand name storage SSD.

You cannot get 2TB SSD under 180 dollars but this 660p

It’s obviously not the best out there, as there are much better ones made by Samsung. However, at 185 bucks, it is the best 2TB NVMe SSD you could find. I personally wouldn’t worry about it being QLC, as it does not affect most regular users. And if you don’t know what QLC is, then you most likely don’t need to worry about it either. Overall working as expected, and I can’t really ask for more.

I’m happy with this 2TB NVMe to work with my intel NUC. No problem. Shipment was quick as well.

My primary drive was running out of space, so I needed an upgrade. This is one of the better 1TB M.2 drives out there. It’s not as fast as a Samsung, but it is quite a bit cheaper. I’ve been using it for close to a month now and I have no complaints. It installed easily, and I was able to clone my other drive to it and make it my primary drive.

Got this drive for long term fast storage of games and photos. Has been performing great. Dont notice much difference in game load time but that was expected. Much better then the my book drive I have been using for storage for loading photos. Pared with a faster drive for windows and main programs it is great.

Initially found this drive via PCPartPicker when this drive showed up on B&H as the least expensive 2TB NVMe drive available. I was worried about performance due to the cheapness of the drive, and had never purchased anything from B&H before. Glad I did, B&H is great and the drive has been solid for the last month (Windows 10 boot drive with games library).

when I put a NVMe Hard drive in my pc it reminds me of the song Grease Lighting since I am adding power to my laptop.

I am using this SSD for gaming and I think it works very well. The read/write times are okay (I think it was around 1100 Mb/s). Not the best, not the worst either. I just wanted something faster than a SATA III SSD and that’s what I got. My load times are rather quick (I’m typically the first to load into games). If you want to use this SSD for transferring files or doing any kind of video editing, I would probably go with a different SSD with faster read/write times. If you want a M.2 SSD for gaming, this is perfect. Very reasonable price for an M.2 NVME SSD (~$230). If you are debating on getting a SATA III 2tb, or an M.2 NVME 2TB, just spend the extra 30 dollars because you won’t be disappointed.

I used clonezilla to transfer partitions from a SATA SSD to this M.2 SSD. It worked fine. The only issue was not drive related, it was a Win10 issue. A couple of runs with Macrium recovery software fixed that for me. The Linux partition booted from the M.2 with no issues. The SATA SSD now acts as internal temporary storage/second PC drive, offloaded to an external HD as needed. So far, it’s performed as I expected. I do know this isn’t the fastest M.2 on the market, but I wanted something that would pick up the responsiveness and read/write times of my laptop PC without expending too much extra wattage. This M.2 fits that bill for me. If you’re on a budget, I’d recommend this M.2 SSD.

I put this ssd in an enclosure. It is very compact and fast. Got up to 1000 mbps read and write on my MacBook Pro. I mainly use it for storage of photos and videos. Much better than carrying a bulky slow spinning drive. It works perfect for me. I don’t recommend it for installing operating system in this. The memory cells will wear out much faster than other drives that cost a lot more money.

Order was quick and easy. Drive arrived on time as promised. M.2 speeds are a great for upgrading you system.

My first NVMe SSD purchase for a PC build. Plan to use it as a fast boot disk. Once again a good deal and great service form B&H.

I needed this to upgrade my macbook, it does actually good. However, if you are doing it on a macbook, you do need an adapter to do it (M to B key shape). Otherwise it’s a great SSD, and having a lot of storage is necessary when doing work. It is really fast and can handle most thing rather quickly and efficiently.

Good performance for the money and very reliable. Always get one when doing a new build or when replacing a damaged SSD.
